What a relief. My family has already benefited from the Affordable Health Care Act. Thank You
Obama for caring. Yes, I do pay for my benefits and always have. Now the burden of everyone’s
health care will be shared more equally.

No.  I’m unsurprised.  The ruling was probably correct.  My only concern is that we are going to get
what we deserve.

Lets face it:  the number of boozers, drug addicts, obese people, never worked yet people are
going to drain the system. Look at the number of people that abuse Medicaid…horrific amount of
abuse goes on each day/week/month in the Medicaid Program.

$$$$$ only way to pay for the new mandate is to charge a import tax of China/India/South
Korea/etc…..value added import tax.

Its llike the comparison of a student getting good grades at college, tells her/his parents that we
should help the needy. So, Dad/Mom says….what grades did you get in college….a 4.0 the kid
says…OK say the parents….why not give one of your 1.0 or 2.0 to less fortunate students…..ARE
YOU CRAZY….the child answers back…...that is the way I see this program headed.

Russ,
I don’t remeber you feeling this way when the SCOTUS said corporations were people in every
sense other than being held accountable for their actions.
Mitch, agree completely.

Too many people still believe Sarah Palin’s lies about non-existent government “death panels”
and remain unaware that this law eliminates the insurance industry “death panels” that did exist
—lifetime benefit limits.

Great news.  There is still a long way to go though.  The healthcare system is so terribly,
terribly sick, some would say it is terminal. Now we are in the middle of a course of very
difficult ‘treatment’.  Just like with medical treatment, the full course needs to be completed to
see the beneficial results.

We need this reform to happen completely and successfully now because halfway through it IS
costing a lot of people more for healthcare than it did before the reforms were started.  The
reason is insurance companies are now taking the liberty of raising premiums to appauling
levels that make health care out of reach for those who NEED it. There is nothing in place to
regulate the premiums they can charge, so they might state they are ‘offering’ health coverage,
but the reality is it as at rates people can’t afford, thereby effectively CONTINUING to decline
people coverage.

In Washington State, insurance companies are STILL declining to provide health insurance for
people if they are anything less than healthy. This doesn’t mean a serious illness, it can be for
any reason or simply an accumulation based on a points system the insurance companies
have created. In Washington State, the monthly premiums for the State plan for an individual
adult with current basic health care needs there averages between $450 and $1,000 a month.
Plus a $2,500 deductible, or higher, and no prescription coverage. That is not a ‘fix’ it is abuse
by the health insurance companies.  I’m glad that their share prices fell, because it sadly shows
what this is really all about - money.

POLITICIANS, PLEASE WORK TOGETHER AND FIX THE SYSTEM.

The ruling has no validity.  Justice Elena Kagan was Obama’s Solicitor General when he was
making up this legislation.  She, BY RULE OF LAW, should have recused herself from ruling on the
case.  It will be appealed, repealed, or thrown out.

If this is allowed to be implemented, the U.S. will go into debt for over $100 TRILLION on this
program alone.  We are already $18-20 TRILLION in the whole now, $14 TRILLION of that in just
the last 3 1/2 years.

The people who even remotely believe that this will work are at the least, dillusional.  They
have not the IQ to understand the destruction that will happen to the financial and health
systems of this country.

Doesn’t apply to me anyway, so you get what you deserve.

Hey! a!  Obama doesn’t pay for your healthcare.  Taxpayers do that.  We’re already paying for
Medicaid, which is totally out of control.  I hope people have the sense to stop donating to
hospitals and medical health facilities.  I sure hope you don’t own a house, because if you sell it
you’ll be paying a healthcare tax on it.
We’re already charged more in the Emergency Room because we have insurance.  Nothing is
subsidized for us.  Two days later we get a letter from the hospital demanding a donation for people
who won’t pay their bills.
I’m sick of this attitude that we’re all happy inmates in the communist collective.
What happens when medical professionals can’t afford to stay in practice?  Would you want an
angry doctor coming at you with a scalpel?  Maybe Bamessiah can put together a squad like the
TSA to hold a gun to a doctor’s head to force him to serve you.
God help us!
If you think government bureaucracy won’t contribute to your death, you’re dreaming.  Go drink
some Koolaid.
Obsessing about medical care is making us all sick.

I forget, JCW. Are you a legal expert who knows more about judicial protocol than U.S. Supreme
Court justices? Or an economist who can more confidently predict the cost of a program than
experts who have studied it exclusively for years? A marketing genius from Vlasic who has coined
the word, “dillusional?” A prescient wizard who sees clearly into the future? Or just a guy who
needs to feel superior to other peoples’ intelligence by stating as fact things you cannot

We need to work TOGETHER to find SOLUTIONS. The door to change is already opened and
we have to get used to that idea and make it - or a better idea - WORK.

Fact is, millions and millions of American citizens currently don’t have access to basic health
care.  That is like a third world nation, that is not the proud America we believe in and love.

Politicians can’t fix this… They are flailing about wasting SO much time and our tax dollars
complaining, bickering, opposing like 2 year olds having tantrums, instead of trying to find the
best solutions for Amerian citizens. I’m embrassed when I know the rest of the world is seeing
it on the news. Shameful. Absolutely shameful.

As for the insurance companies, well, the basis of their phenomenal profits are being
threatened so they are hardly going to be advocates for change.

So we need clear and loud voices from We the People.  Not arguing or blaming voices. We
need voices that are FOCUSED ON SOLUTIONS.

Republicans in the House, including Denny Rehberg, have had more than 30 votes on bills to
repeal the Health Care Reform Law—none of which were going anywhere because Democrats still
hold the Senate and the president would veto in any case.
They’re having another repeal vote in the House today, after the Supreme Court ruling upheld the
law.
That’s what they’ve been doing instead of working to create more jobs.

Those who have their “entitlement” threatened by a repeal of Obamacare are hardly advocates for
true health care reform - as long as the taxpayer pays for their medical bills, what do they care?

True, we do need solutions, but we need them from people who DON’T have a vested interest - and
those people are going to be a lot scarcer than honest politicians.

This legislation was supposed to create more jobs - both immediately AND long term.  To date, very
few of those jobs have materialized.

And the CBO is hardly an impartial entity to depend on for real data regarding health costs.

So tell me, what’s the percentage of the population paying taxes, and what is the percentage of the
population on food stamps?

Oh, if I could only bet a huge sum that I would get an honest answer from a proponent of
Obamacare…

Actually Russ, the number is more like 16,500 new IRS agents and a budget of $300 million for
health care mandate compliance.

I think Ron Paul says it best:

“16,500 armed bureaucrats coming to make this program work – if it was a good program and
everybody liked it, you wouldn’t need 16,500 thugs coming with their guns and putting you in jail if
you didn’t follow all the rules.”
