After the meeting i started thinking about the petitioners suggested level of 5 feet below the pin on the causeway bridge and wondered if the lake was down that far could a boat still navigate through
the channels between Echo and Abbot and Abbot and Peterson? If so what would the depth of the
channels be? If the level of the lake doesn’t allow for transition between then what good would it be
to open Abbot and Peterson to allow wakes? Just food for thought

FWP advised me that when the water level is five feet below the pin, that would meanthe water would be about 2.5 feet below the lowest point on the Causeway Bay road.
At that level, the lake is still fairly high and the channel between the lakes is navagable.
Abbott is pretty much a no-wake lake in any case, because of the 200 foot no wake
rule. And that rule still applies to Peterson Lake as well.
