WAKE UP MONTANA….KEEP THE GAME FISH WHILE YOU CAN….STOP GILL NETTING…..WHY ???? THE ASIAN CARP IS COMING & THE MISSOURI RIVER IS ON THE MENU….I just got a picture of a 20 pound Kentucky Silver Salmon…..by another name ASIAN CARP….AND ITS IN OTHER RIVERS OTHER THAN THE CHICAGO RIVER….AND THE GREAT LAKES IS NEXT….AND THEN UP THE MISSOURI THAT LEWIS & CLARK TRAVELED.
MY BUDDY IN KENTUCKY….WENT FISHING ON BARKLEY LAKE FOR WALLEYE OR STRIPPED BASS…..CAUGHT A 20
POUND SILVER ASIAN CARP….and people these are far more damaging to the fresh water game fish….than Lake Trout in Flathead Lake….............OH AND IN CASE YOU WORRY….DAMS ARE THE ONLY THING STOPPING THE CARP FROM SPREADING TO THE PACIFIC OCEAN STREAMS…..UNLESS SOME BUCKET BIOLOGIST….GETS WACKY…....up the Missouri River, up the Gallatin River, up the Clark Fork via some bucket, to the Flathead River and Kerr Damn.
So Fish & Game should be over in Eastern Montana….checking the passports of the Asian Carp…and quit worrying about Lake Trout and spend the $$$ to slow the advancement of the Flying Asian Carp.
