I have often wondered why coaches are tolerant of criminal violent behavior of their players. More to the point why do many university communities tolerate this kind of behavior by players? I witnesses a case long ago at Ohio State where a football player raped a student and the university spent an incredible amount ot time and money to smear the victim. When you break the rules the punishment should be the same for players and non athletes. There is no justification for this coach’s behavior.
