Pitbull: the dog of choice for bullies aka those with short man’s disease, and/or those who have something very illegal they want to hide and protect.

I will never understand wanting to own one of these dogs. After all the out of control attacks.  I’m sure the original breed of dog was not the monster that people have bred it to be now…..... There are those that say it depends on it’s raising, but I have read studies that say at some point the dogs skull caviety stops growing, but the brain itself does not, hence at some point driving the animal insane.  Very true though Roark, some owners of this breed tend to be somewhat questionable on their content !

I was exposed to a pitbull trainer, who trained people how to deal with dog attacks and she told the following story:

She had 3 pitbull dogs that she used in her training and they had been loved and trained to the fullest extent possible. She’d had this one particular dog for over 2 years and had raised it from a puppy, training and loving the dog the whole time. One day, she had the 3 of them in her car, driving down the road and this 2 year old, well-loved, trained pitbull attacked her without provocation.

She, as a professional pitbull trainer, said “You can NEVER trust a pitbull, no matter how they were raised and how much they were loved. They can snap at any given moment for absolutely no reason at all. They can kill you, even if you’ve loved them.“

Take heed.
