Basic economic theory states that increases in worker productivity are matched by increases in wages in a free market system.

BUT when you have monopolies - such as in the health care industry - in which basically 7 corporations control the entire health care sector - and the owners of those companies are in many cases the same people -  basic economic theory does not apply.

Hence we have exploding prices in the energy industry - caused by monopolies and market manipulation
