Let’s be civil.
The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), accuse someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail webmaster [at] flatheadbeacon.com.

If a “voter” cannot get registration done in the other 364 days of the year, it seems to suggest a lack of
interest.  My guess is also suggests the voters most likely will not be very educated as to the issues.
Our state registration laws did not need to be changed previously.  Bottom line - if a ‘voter” is not
interested in registering, they most likely aren’t interested in voting.  Or - maybe promise them a free
cell phone?

I guess mooseberryinn has never had the MT DMV lose his voter registration.  How does one find
out this has happened?  When you show up to vote on election day and are told you are not
registered to vote.  The only solution - go down to the election office and get registered on
election day.  How often does this happen?  Quite a bit.  Don’t trust the Montana DMV to send in
your registration for you!!!!  They have been dropping the ball for years.

Until there is some kind of positive voter identification, like fingerprint biometric’s there will always
be massive voter fraud and then the political will have to act on voter fraud, which there is’nt. We
are being played and until we wake up, vote in common sense patriots we will be the serfs and
taken care of instead of the brave and the proud will only be a thing of the past. Now we are
borrowing .46 cents on the dollar, last year it was .40 cent. 4 Trillion more in dept and Obama
wants a blank check to raise the dept ceiling any time he wants.
