Excellent letter and an important message.  This horse has just left the gate but the race ain’t over yet.  I’ll bet a lot of people thought this was a done deal and are resting on their laurels.  Thank you for reminding some and informing others that we need to keep up the political pressure.

What about the more simple problem of road dust creating massive amounts of silt entering the river ?  All this is great effort, but we can add protection to the river by at least paving the Canyon-Camas section of the road.  Can we count on Headwaters support in this effort or just on the lofty goal of getting high level international political action ?  Can we have both ?
