I need to make something very clear, my letter is in no way shape or form a slight to our
Sheriff’s Department. Quite the contrary, I know a few deputies personally, and they are simply
overburdened. I applaud their dedication and their concern for our case. My letter is simply a
request for help, someone, somewhere knows something. Every time my sons tell me, “It’s ok Dad,
they were just things” I cringe. For the simple fact that what was stolen from them was my
promise to keep their home safe while they were gone.
