Let’s be civil.
The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), accuse someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail webmaster [at] flatheadbeacon.com.

The views expressed in the comments section do not reflect those of the Beacon.

And no, it wasn’t me. I’ve had co-workers lose kids to drunk drivers. Graham did the right
thing. At that moment, it’s possible he was the most important person in Whitefish, because he
might have saved some pedestrian or other driver’s life.

By doing what you did, you may well have been some innocent’s guardian angel. Thank you for
intervening. You’re the best kind of neighbor to have.

Thanks, Graham. You did a good thing. Now what can you do about your many fellow Calgarians who
enjoy traveling around Eureka telling us locals they “own this town.” I’d appreciate a few more
of you and a few less of them. Cheers.

Hey Graham, you should buy a lottery ticket because you are the luckiest guy in the Flathead.
You met the only drunk driver in the valley that night, as there were no DUI’s handed out on New
Year’s Eve in Flathead County.
