Sorry if this is a silly question-but will the bypass take truck traffic out and away from Flathead Lake?

@illustr8r: No. The sole purpose is to bypass downtown Kalispell. I doubt Hwys 35 and 93 will ever be relocated, esp. H 35-there’s no place to go with it.

@by the way: The Internet makes finding that info easy.
http://www.kalispellbypass.com/index.cfm
“Access to the Interim Bypass will be by roundabouts at Airport Road, Foys Road, and at Reserve Loop. A grade-separated interchange at Three Mile Drive and three (3) at-grade intersections (at the north and south ends and at US 2), one exit only ramp (at Sunnyside Drive) and an overpass at Two Mile Drive. Future (full build) interchanges are planned at Airport, Foys Lake roads and Reserve Loop.”
Based on that description it appears that there will little (if any) opportunity for commercial development. You can avail yourself of the “Contact Us” button and send them your questions.
