Comments on: Long To-Do List for New U.S. Parks Chief

I’m so glad to see the Parks chief is taking global warming seriously. I was shocked to find out that Glacier National Park is down to a third of the original 150 glaciers it had in the 19th century. Global warming damages to our National Parks will hurt not just Montana’s pride in its land and culture, but also our economy and our health. And especially when we have an available solution—the Congressional clean energy bill, which would help create 6,000 new jobs for Montana’s workers—it makes no sense to continue with business as usual. Senators Baucus and Tester should not only vote in favor of the Senate clean energy bill, but push to pass it as soon as possible. Montana’s National Parks can’t wait—and neither can our job market.
