I wonder what made them plead guilty when the state didn’t have a case. This article doesn’t serve as a real good advertisement for Mr. Bennett.
Actually I think Corrigan is doing a pretty good job. I’m surprised. His office has 100% success in collecting payment on the bad checks we send them. His competitors have about ten percent, in my experience. So I don’t talk bad about the County Attorney anymore.
Pigsfly, you wouldn’t do very well in the tourism business, which is about all we have left around here. Other than mushrooms and horse manure. You’d learn to be a little more tolerant of foreigners if you knew how to take their money prior to running them off.

The disturbing thing about NW Montana - and it should give everyone pause - is that it is quite possible that pigsfly is completely serious in his comments.

Pigsfly is serious. This is why I always carry. Don’t worry bubba, if I meet you in the woods and you make a fuss, there won’t be much left for the coyotes.

I read the comment by pigsfly before it was deleted. Where does scum like that come from? Sadly I was not surprised as I have had many conversations with people like this. I am also disappointed that the vermin who committed the assault didn’t go to prison. It might have sent a strong message to people like pigsfly. Like .45 people like pigsfly are the reason I carry.

Appears some Beacon readers are confused and offended by human nature? Shall we ponder the natural inclination to eat familiar cuisine, live amongst persons much like ourselves, marry, do business with persons with similar values? Apparently, if someone admits such desire to (for example) live next to persons similar to themselves, they are vilified? I don’t think any of you looking down your nose at people like pigsfly would feel comfortable living next to a family of Salvadorean MS 13 Gangsters, Russian weapon and human slave merchants, Amsterdam hookers, Jews preferring sex with underage children or perhaps a band of Arab Muslims that wake up the roosters every morning by playing that god awful “sounds like the cat got the tail stuck in the door” music? Truthfully and to be fair, none of us really know the story of what transpired with the mushroom pickers. Certainly, Laotians look different then the usual White face seen in Flathead Valley. Maybe the Cambodians made a derogatory comment or gesture at the Montanans eating hamburgers instead of dining on a healthily prepared dog hind leg or monkey brain? So, I’m a bad person because I rather live next to guy that looks and acts like Merle Haggard than Snoop Dog, have my daughter visit with a boyfriend that believes in Jesus rather than prays to the burning man? For admitting my thoughts I’m going to be chewed out and threatened to be shot by gun carrying folks like .45? Strange bunch up here after all.
