Not so fast being “happy”, Bill. Obama is pushing the ratification of CIFTA, the Inter-American Convention Against Illicit Manufacturing of and Trafficking in Firearms. Senate needs to ratify the treaty. Article II, section 2, of the Constitution states that the president “shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two-thirds of the Senators present concur.” No more reloading..no more gun assembly. How about the folding knife prohibition simmering with customs? Soon no pointy things, nothing that goes bang and when you hold out, the newly trained Obamacorps rehabilitated inner city gangster youth will kick your door down and take your butt to a camp. Now Bill, you appear to be capable to probably take out the first wave..how about the Bear squad. I know, I know you have a tunnel and will circle round and blow everything to hell from a safe distance. Your a good man, Bill.

It’s interesting that there has been no fanfare about gun legislation in the national news lately - it seems the Obama administration and Congress is avoiding this topic; seems they just prefer to enact legislation on the Q.T….They can rest assured that, as gun owning Americans, we will be watching their every move.

Not so fast:
“...It remains unclear, however, how far the new law will extend gun rights in national parks and federal wildlife refuges.
At Mammoth Cave National Park, for example, it’s not certain whether the new law means guns will be allowed inside the park’s cave — known for its gypsum lined passages, narrow canyons, large rooms, and dripstone formations — or in the park’s visitor center and staff offices, or whether they’ll only be allowed in campgrounds, or on roads, trails and in the backcountry of the 82-square-mile natural and historical preserve 75 miles south of Louisville.
That’s because federal attorneys are still sorting through legal issues, including how the new law can work with an existing general ban on guns in federal facilities.
At Mammoth Cave park, officials have deemed the cave, park offices and the visitor center to be a “federal facility,” but not campgrounds and trails, McDougal said.
So, “We are waiting for guidance from Washington” he said…”
