Fire and prosecute every one of those city council members who sold their souls for a quick buck. I swear. For years to come there will be no greater example of small town corruption than what has been witnessed in Hardin, Montana.
The stupidity of the people involved in this mess have no rivals.
But it serves them right.. The last desperate act of any failed community is to allow themselves to be absorbed into the prison industry. Few, if any, fail at that. But Hardin managed to do it. Amazing!

Brent: you didn’t “break” this story four days ago. The Beacon started reporting on this 20 days ago.

And, I know this additional fact will break your heart, I have expressed my concerns about this APF deal on more than one occasion. You just weren’t paying attention.

It’s about time the AG finally took a look at Mr. Hilton and the scam he has been pulling off in Hardin. Sorry Brent but you too have been oblivious to this story. It’s been in the news for over a month while you were busy dillydallyin in lalaland.

It is good that Attorney General Bullock is looking into this Hardin fiasco given that Michael Hilton and “American Police Force” stink to the high heavens. Nevertheless, let’s not be too hard on the folks in Hardin until more becomes known. How to desperate dying communities in eastern Montana save themselves from decay and abandonment? I grew up in north central Montana and have watched the decline of much of the area for more than 50 years. Some Hardin folks came up with an idea, but they didn’t do their homework well enough, nor did they excercise due diligence in trying to recruit someone to rescue them from the mess they created. There are some villains out there, but there are many others who are not. They were all hoping something would come along and save their community. That may not be possible now, but let us trust the state government, and where necessary, the federal government to step in, investigate and bring the wrong doers to justice. And please don’t say “we don’t want the government messing in our affairs.” When you mess up it’s the government that comes in to rescue you.

Brent: You tend to express yourself a little more clearly than your last post. Please re-transmit, last message garbled. I copy 5 by 5 through to word Rawhide.

I am happy to hear that somebody is looking into this. I smell something nefarious.

Very good to hear that this whole mess is now being investigated ! With this guys background, and obviously full of promises for prosperity for this small broke town, you just know that it stenches of RAT !I am still VERY interested in hearing who this “Parent company” is (OH SO SECRET, cant be revealed bunch a bull pucky) . It can go either way I suppose, either it is just full of smoke and mirrors, (His APF web site is pretty mickey mouse looking) or there is a parent company, and this joker is making a bad situation look even worse…....
Time to pull out the popcorn, and watch this unfold !!!

The question I have is; Is he working for himself or getting paid otherwise. He seems to have built op some cash. Enough to buy some nice cars.
