How sad.  My Montana Furniture pieces are among the best “new” furniture I own. They are the only newer items that compare favorably with my antiques.  It’s rare to find furniture of this quality these days, but that’s probably why they failed.  I guess we’re just stuck with planned obsolescence.

I agree with the quality statement of the previous reader. But, great quality and the prices were totally out of reach for the average Monana family. The prices at the store were for the rich people only…..and I think had they made some cheaper simpler furniture the doors would still be open.
