Bohlinger picked right on this one. McCain is also a military man that is the only candidate with the will to get us out of Iraq and restore our constitution. While, DC Denny picks Rudy Giuliani for President. Who is the real republican now, Iverson?
By Roark on 12-27-07
Bohlinger is what is termed a liberal Republican or a conservative Democrat. His endorsement of McCain reflects this view, mostly the liberal side of it. McCain, as you will remember, co-sponsored that wretched muzzle on private property rights called ‘Çampaign Finance Reform’.
By James on 12-27-07
Real conservatives don’t pre-emptively start wars, increas government size and increase government spending. McCain is just another Neo-conservative that is attempting to hi-jack the US government as did the Bush administration. If McCain is elected the US will be drawn into more and more foreign conflicts, and our economy as well as our national security will suffer greatly. We have lost credibility in the world and must restore America’s role as a good example. McCain is a war-monger, ignorant of history and the economy. He cannot and should not ever be the president of the US!
By Citizen on 12-27-07
How many people would vote for John McCain if they knew his real agenda? It comes down to this: the military elite, working with the president, should draft America’s teens and send them to kill and be killed in foreign lands so that US government can maintain a global military hegemony utterly alien to traditional American ideals.
McCain is the candidate of perpetual war for the sake of perpetual war. Against whom? Anyone: Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Serbia, and China are on his radar screen for now, but anyone could be next. A president like this-temperamentally maniacal and lusting for power – is fully capable of plunging the US into a nuclear exchange just because he got up on the wrong side of the bed.
McCain says that foreign policy is the reason he is running for president. Hence, as awful as he is on domestic issues – he wants to tax the tobacco industry to death and nationalize the electoral system through campaign finance reform – his foreign policy views alone implicate him as an enemy of freedom.
VOTE RON PAUL, end the war and bring the troops home!
By NO MORE WAR, NO MCCAIN!! on 12-27-07
The Lt. Governor may support McCain, but the PEOPLE OF MONTANA SUPPORT RON PAUL! I no longer see it as a “two-party” system. I believe the democrats and republicans are now ONE party split into almost two identical factions. The major candidates from both sides support the illegitimate war in Iraq, support big government, and support many of the other issues that Ron Paul opposes. The reason Ron Paul is now at 38% in Iowa and gaining in many other states is because people see this merger of the two parties. Both are sounding the same at this point. Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate that is steadfast in his committment to the constitution, and in limiting the expanse and jurisdiction of the burgeoning federal government. I urge you Mr. Bohlinger, no I plead with you to sincerely take a long hard look at the big issues and Ron Pauls’ platform. Please spend some time reading about Ron Pauls issues. I cannot and will not with good conscious vote for any other candidate. I and those like me are not single issue or party voters. We are voting for the greatest good. We are in an ideological battle here. America is at a crossroads. Do we choose a stronger more controlling government with fascist like control over thought and life or do we limit the government, restoring it to a constitutional size where it can function to serve the people instead of being served by the people. Please see that Ron Paul is the truest conservative and can defeat whoever the democrats put up there. The democrats have failed to do what they were elected to do….END THE WAR. Ron Paul can and will do that. That is what 70% of Americans want. Lets bring peace and a secure economy back to America. ITS THE WAR STUPID! That is the deciding issue this election! Whatever candidate can convince America of an end to this ignorant, worthless, waste of a war that was started under lies will WIN. VOTE RON PAUL 2008! Stop the killing….STOP THE WAR!

Ron Paul is the ONLY choice for those who love America and the constitution PERIOD!
http://www.lewrockwell.com/orig8/baldwin3.html
In fact, Ron Paul has voted against so many unconstitutional bills offered by both Democrats and Republicans that he is known on Capitol Hill as “Dr. No.“ This moniker comes from both his “no” votes and the fact that Paul is a former medical doctor, an OB/GYN physician who has delivered more than four thousand babies.
If one wants a true photograph of how a congressman or senator votes on conservative, constitutional issues, the best place to look is the Freedom Index in the New American Magazine. Ron Paul almost always ranks as the most conservative congressman from either chamber or either party. His current ranking is 100%, which is a score that few congressmen or senators, except Ron Paul, ever achieve. And Paul does it routinely. Protect your rights and your future. VOTE RON PAUL and support him today.

The ‘new American’ magazine is a publication of the sleazy ultra right anti semitic john birch society and Ron Paul needs to explain his association with them. Same with stormfront! Right wingers have never protected anyones rights except the uber wealthy.

j davis. You should pay more attention to your sources and where you get news from. If you were to do that, you would already know that the New York times has RETRACTED its article SMEARING RON PAUL. The information they got was slanderous and a purposeful smear tactic against a good man that they feel threatened by. Here is the link to the full retraction from the Times: http://themedium.blogs.nytimes.com/2007/12/24/the-ron-paul-vid-lash/?ex=1199163600&en=7b25470d94ea3b8b&ei=5070&emc=eta1/
See? No candidate can be aware of all the little $500 donations coming in from all over. Heck did you hear this one, Giuliani recieved donations from multiple mafia dons and made guys. UH OH GIULIANI IS IN THE MAFIA ALERT CNN! So really davis, grow up and read some history, learn foreign policy and economics. Go study something besides the TV screen for once. Start with getting yourself the talk of Washington DC. Get a copy of the book titled “The Israel Lobby”. Read it then talk to me. Support the constitution and stop trying to destroy it.

Davis, you really should look just a little deeper into Ron Pauls economics backround and his devotion to giving more to the working class such as you and I. Check out these uber cool documentaries that have nothing to do with Ron Paul but really explain the system here in the US. Then decide for yourself. Please do me this favor, make some popcorn, grab a cold beer and sit yourself down and learn about Money, Banking and the Federal Reserve:

“So really davis, grow up and read some history, learn foreign policy and economics. Go study something besides the TV screen for once”
You make a lot of unfounded assumptions Sam. First I have been an adult for more years than I care to remember. Second, I rarely watch TV and do not get my news from corporate controlled media. Third, I am fairly well grounded in foreign policy and will admit I am no economist. I in no way want to destroy the Constitution and to imply that people who don’t support Paul want to do so is just paranoid BS. I simply don’t agree with most of his proposed policies as is my right under the constitution you mentioned. I will admit I enjoy seeing people getting passionate about a candidate. Its a refreshing change from the indifference of the past. As for me. I find myself n the unenviable position of not being able to support any of the current candidates from either party with the exception of Dennis Kucinich. Unfortunately for the country he doesn’t have a chance.

Davis, I apologize for the slanderous comment….......I guess in a way I smeared you. It was just upsetting to see you quote media smears that were proven to be totally unfactual and purposely blown out of proportion. I hope you can accept a sincere apology for my remark to you there. Thanks.

Another thread hi-jacked by the ‘blame America/Islam is no threat/anarchist’ Paulians.
By j davis on 12-29-07
Sam,
Apology accepted and thanks. I can understand how you feel and it really is a good thing to be passionate about a candidate or cause. My ex next door neighbor in Kalispell is a Ron Paul supporter. Although I disagree with him it is good to see young people get involved in the electoral process so I encourage him. Keep on fighting the good fight, thats what this country is all about.
