I thought this info was helpful.

The Talibangelicals will not succeed this time, just as they so miserably failed last time.

Those who wish to create a theocratic America would do well to stop wasting their energy.  This country was founded on the desire to shake off the tyranny of King George’s Church of England, not on Judeo-Christian ‘values”.  Let freedom ring, especially a woman’s right to freely choose what she does with (and within) her body.  Rather than what bible-beating busy-bodies decide is allowable.

Ya know what’s really going to be hilarious?  When we have B.O.‘s “health care” and women have to wait 10 months for an abortion.

Keep beating that drum of lies and misinformation, moose.

Health care reform must include the public option.

It is time to boot out the faceless INSURANCE COMPANY bureaucrats who deny people care and revoke people’s insurance when they try to avail themselves of the benfits they purchased.

Very soon a bill titled S.909 will pass the senate.  It states..:“Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce [radio, TV, internet] any communication, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person, using electronic means to support severe, repeated, and hostile behavior, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both. (HR 1966, SEC 3, Sec. 881a)”........I suggest that Kalispell Native is the first one to be prosecuted.  It also applies to any forum that allows such “free” speech to continue.  It seems if it is hate speech directed against Christians, it is ok

And Kalispell Native, you have been called on these words before,  are you obsessed with dogs, noses, or crotches?

Beacon Readers Rated This Comment:

mtboat:  The problem is the obsession that christian extremists and their terrorist supporters (Dr. Tiller’s murder in his church for example) have with trying to control, restrict even, the legal medical options available for women.  If the forced-birth dogmatists would keep their noses out of other peoples’ business, then my description would no longer be apt or needed.

And thank you for your support of S. 909, The Matthew Shepard Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2009, which will extend equal protection from hate crimes for our LGBT fellow Americans.

And, just so ya know http://www.opencongress.org/bill/111-h1913/text

Sec. 8 of the above, “Nothing in this Act, or the amendments made by this Act, shall be construed to prohibit any expressive conduct protected from legal prohibition by, or any activities protected by, the Constitution.“

Just because something is deemed “legal” doesn’t make it right. Bravo to the Montana ProLife Coalition. Through all the rhetoric that says that it isn’t their business to oppose abortion, it’s good that someone is standing up for the innocent. Proverbs 6:17 is clear where GOD says that he hates “hands that shed innocent blood”. For all those that refuse to repent of their evil deeds, their awful fate awaits them. Revelation 21:8 lists who will be thrown into the lake of fire, and murderers are one of them. You can rationalize all you want, but there is a judgment coming someday.

AS usual not ONE FACT from the anti-choice crowd -  only insults and lies.

The most fact adverse crowd I’ve ever had the good fortune NOT to meet in public.

Hatred and violence against women - and if you throw in zenophobia you’ve got the 3 legs of the republican STOOL -

oh wait we need to add in “greed is the republican GOD” in order to be truly accurate.

The rightwingnuts idea of right to life begins at conception and ends at birth.

BUT social justice continues the long slog towards the end goal of freedom for all and equal rights for all -  everything the pro-corporate fascist rightwingers hate.

YES WE CAN!

Might as well say this while I still can..“I cant wait for the day of a “hopefully soon revolution so we can have tribunals for these demoralizing individuals who are hell bent on destroying what little good that is left of America. That goes for all of the main-stream media as well…They are like a festering gan green limb of the body of America that needs to be cut of in order for the rest of the body to heal.“And since Woody always screams for facts….Heres a few for ya buddy….Do You Know The Hard Facts About Abortion In America?

Do You Know? That the taking of a human life by abortion is legal in the USA at any time throughout the entire nine months of pregnancy… FOR ANY REASON!
Do You Know? At 18 days after conception, a baby has a heartbeat.
Do You Know? At 6 weeks following conception, the babies brain waves can be measured. At 8 weeks after conception, the stomach, liver, and kidneys of the baby are functioning, and fingerprints have formed. At 9 weeks, the unborn child can feel pain.
Do You Know? That 700,000 abortions are performed each year in America after 9 weeks into the pregnancy.
Do You Know? The overwhelming majority of all abortions, (95%), are done as a means of birth control. Only 1% are performed because of rape or incest; 1% because of fetal abnormalities; 3% due to the mother’s health problems.
Do You Know? For every two babies born another baby dies in an abortion. If you want more FACTS I’ll get you more!

Truther :  He does not know who is rich, or poor.  He is a assumer of the worst kind. He is jealous, and hateful. Has a chip on his shoulder, and blames everyone else for what ever his hardships may be. I have never even heard this much name calling from fighting 10 year olds, as I read in his posts. I have come to the conclusion that it is best just to ignore, because while he name calls, and assumes, he screams about facts, and yet has non of his own !  I will not debate with one that I am concerned about their mental capacity, for that is not right to do…....  So I take it all with a grain of salt, much like you would do with a child ( still could grow out of it, right ??)

Of course women are not chattle!  In this advanced society women have numerous ways which are highly convenient in order to not become pregnant if they so choose.  Pregnancy is a choice under normal circumstances.  I have read many accounts of women who have been raped and became pregnant choosing to have the baby and either keep the other innocent victim of the assault or allow the baby to be adopted.  A true act of love and compassion which those who support abortion have no grasp.

mtboat:  Let’s chunk your reply down at little.

“the “problem” is your filthy mouth.  Don’t bother trying to sound intelligent when you know your comment was removed.“

I have used no curse words, so I can only imagine you’re a professional scold who uses histrionic hyperbole to try to diminish and villify the words of others.  I don’t know who has the more tightly clenched buttocks, you, or the moderator here.  Quite frankly, I wouldn’t be surprised to learn that you brow-beat them into removing the following-the Christo-facsists acting like ill-mannered dogs, sticking their noses in other people’s crotches.  That’s close enough to the original.  Not a curse word in there, is there?  The filth is in your own mind, that you would deem it so.

********************************************
“The issues you try to bully people about will never be addressed as long as you use disgusting language to try and make your point.“

Let’s talk about the disgusting language of the murder of physicians in the churches, homes and offices.  Let’s talk about the latest, and ghoulish, literature currently being promulgated by Operation Rescue and Terry Randall against Sonia Sotomayor.

http://www.overturnroe.com/lit/sotoflyer.pdf

*************************************

“And you are guilty of exactly the kind of thing this bill would outlaw.  As a matter of fact, I am not in support of this bill.  But if it passes I will utilise it to silence the real hate talkers like you.“

This is classic, right-wing hypocrisy and religious zealot cherry-picking of a law.  You can’t just pluck out thepart of the law you agree with to try to proffer charges against someone.  You have to use the entirety of the statute.  And, as I have already informed you earllier, there is language in that law that precludes your desire.

*****************************************

“I may speak against the government but I do not talk about someones religion or lack of, or body functions.  You make a habit of it.“

As long as religions and their followers endevour to insinuate religion into government in opposition to the very words of the Constitution, then I have every right to castigate those engaging in those mis-guided attempts and the under-lying religious justifications that they use to try to do so.

Where, exactly, have I talked about, excretion, urination, menstruation, respiration, perspiration, circulation?  Those are bodily functions.  I’m sure I left off a few.

I hope that my response was civil enough.

Beacon Readers Rated This Comment:

I am not alone in saying that talk that you like to throw out on a regular basis, is pretty miserable crap.  I guess body functions is not correct. The dog comment has been used before and without cursing, it is none the less disgusting.  Your use of christo fascist is hurtful and designed to cause hurt and insult to Christians. That is exactly where the Mathew Shepperd bill comes in.  It expressly describes trying to demean or cause bad feelings about someones religion. That makes it hate speech under the terms used in the bill.  And you are guilty. As for cherry picking the law….  If it is the law, that you can’t use that type of speech, and you do it any way because after all “it’s the Christians”, then you are the one cherry picking.  As for “brow beating the Beacon to remove your comment”, I didn’t have to brow beat, I just followed the suggestion at the top of the page, and asked them to examine your comment and mine that followed, I guess they agreed that   it should be removed.

mtboat: tell me what you think about the Operation Rescue flyer.  Tell me why “christians” can dish it out, but can’t handle it when they receive in-kind.  Tell me your thoughts about the activities of Fred Phelps and his Westbro Baptist “church”.  Tell me how you are going to partition the concept of; “Freedom of Speech” equitably.

Standard, self-righteous whining.  Y’all happily dish it out, but you can’t take it.

Beacon Readers Rated This Comment:

I don’t choose to tell you anything about Operation Rescue or any other question you have posted as I believe you would just subvert and distort my answer.  My point is that you continue to use hate speech toward Christians.  You have no class.  Get it?

Don’t be stupid , stupid. Give me an example of my hate speech. Hypocrite yourself, your crowd passes a bill that makes hate speech illegal, then screams hate speech constantly.  Self righteous coward, yeah. When somebody calls an afoc, on his bad behavior, that makes him self righteous huh?

Beacon Readers Rated This Comment:

By Kalispell Native on 07-10-09

I have no idea what an ‘afoc’ is.

I used christians in the group sense, not the singular.  Just as you used ‘your crowd’ in the group sense and not the singular.  Take a look at what Falwell and Robertson had to say were their reasons for Katrina destroying New Orleans.  It is patently obvious.

Also, has the bill passed both Houses of Congress? No.  You’re getting a bit ahead of youself in casting your aspersions.

Beacon Readers Rated This Comment:

By mtboat on 07-11-09

The bill will pass. You seem to think all Christians are like Phelps, Falwell, Robertson etc. You forgot Jim and Tammy Baker, Swaggert, and Jim Jones.  It is easy to pull up the poorest examples of Christianity and base your hate speech on it. The fact is I would agree with you that those mentioned were all afoc’s too. But my objection was not that you have a different opinion about religion, or that you have strong views about my religion. I simply object to your crude terminology and suggestions of gross, base behavior, to weakly try and make your point.  Face it , you are just offensive.  Now if it is hate speech, well,  we shall see.
