I have to, unfortunately, agree that Montana is going blue (socialist blue). This will be Rehberg’s last 2 years, he was a RINO anyhow, soon to be replaced by an Obama drone.

Of course, I always hold out rational hope that the best result may come of any political outcome.

That should be RETURN TO BLUE…. as montana has historically been a democratic state and actually had the 1st female federal representative - Jeanette Rankin.
Let’s pray for a return to the blue, progressive party of Optimism instead of the defeatist, hate america first party of the conservatives/libertarians.
Notive the republican/libertariasn on this website never have anything postive to say about the USA- Regardless of our problems I stick by my opinion that America is still the greatest country on earth - and the most powerful economically.
It reminds me of a fireside chat that FDR gave in 1942 - he was talking about the conservative movement in America when he recalled the conservative movement from the revolutionary war - the Tories(equivalent to the current republican/libertarians) ” those selfish men, jealous men, fearful men who preached defeatism”.

get involved then….. show up at your local political party meeting w/ 10 of your friends…..that is the American way…..
not defeatism, crying, whining and knocking America
that will get you no where

then quit with the “hate america first” rhetoric

@mooseberry - ROFL - your sarcasm has reached the level of true entertainment /begin sarcasm
All hail the messiah, the wondrous, mighty B.O., keeper of the sacred BS, whose campaign promises are made flesh, even as we speak!! His stimulation will bring health care to the bums and street urchins, bring the poor, hungry, huddled unemployed masses meaningful, productive jobs; help the youth of our beloved nation to perform meaningful works by giving them red jackets and making them exercise in column in the mornings, so that they can feel a part of something wonderful by forcing people to take vaccinations that they don’t need, and who allows our professionally trained soldiers to round us all up and take us to FEMA camps so that we can be more readily looked after and cared for…and pay for it all by mercilessly taxing the evil corporations and the rich into oblivion, where they belong!!! It brings tears to my eyes, just knowing that the great and wondrous messiah B. O. loves me too… <sniff>

Speaking to the article…
Here’s a direct quote from the great B.O. himself:
“My attitude is that if the economy’s good for folks from the bottom up, it’s gonna be good for everybody. If you’ve got a plumbing business, you’re gonna be better off if…you’re gonna be better off if you’ve got a whole bunch of customers who can afford to hire you, and right now everybody’s so pinched that business is bad for everybody and I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody.”
No matter how you slice it, that’s stealing…NO…It’s worse than that, it’s robbing me at gunpoint and taking food from my children in order to fund lifestyles I don’t support, for the purpose of buying votes from non-producers who vote as they are told.
And don’t think for a second that I am some partisan hack job that thinks Bush was right either.
If you’re one of those useful idiots that believes the party line about corporate greed and conservatism going hand in hand…then you’re a sad, ignorant fool who cannot be helped.

I think it’s time for the Country of Montana to emerge with leadership we can trust to get people working and to heck with the idiots in Washington D.C.
