Comments on: Montana’s Economy Will Remain Stable

Let’s be civil. The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), convict someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail editor [at] flatheadbeacon.com. Looks like this guy didn’t know what the heck he was talking about!

When he was quoted for this article we had been in a recession for a month already!.  Ha ha.  Peter Schiff knows so much more than this moron chip.

No kidding!  Some expert he turned out to be.  I would’t ask him how to invest a plug nickel.

I am really sick of hearing that quote “The Last Best Place”. How many of you clowns have actually ventured out of Flathead Valley to even compare this place to other places that consider their homes “The Last Best Place”. What is so great about living here? The weather? The economy? The friendly Montana folk? The high taxes? The lack of diversity?
Tom Burke, you will say anything to get people to buy when they cannot afford it.

the guy is a joke.  doesn’t have a clue.  he wrote this a year ago and denied a recession.  The guy shouldn’t be allowed to operate a lemonade stand.

Lakeside Res asked: “What is so great about living here?“

Spectacular Flathead Lake. The Park. The Bob. The Rocky Mountain Front. Skiing in the winter. Rafting and Kajaking in the spring and summer. Fishing. Hiking in the back country. The breathtaking scenery and wildlife. Bowhunting and then rifle hunting in the fall….until it’s time to go skiing again…..and then, oh darn, I’ve gotta do all that boring stuff all over again.
Nope, I guess there’s nothing great about living here.

This guy could not have been more wrong.  This is why reading those of the Austrian School of Economics pays off so well.

To Tox: Right, it’s such a wonderful place to live and who the hell can afford all of those sports? The out of state buyers that’s who!  Not the people who live here and are now without jobs. You and Tom Burk. Clueless.
