Comments on: Montana’s Obama Disapproval

Obama has professed his fondness of Communist student groups and Marxist professors while in college.
He appointed an avowed communist to be his “Green Jobs Czar.”
Now we learn that Anita Dunn, the White House Communications Director has a favorite philosopher .. a Communist responsible for the murder of 70 million people.

The farmers in my area, along with us, adamantly support Obama. Our bank account is less than seven figures, we have to support the party that acts in our best interests. Integrity and truth is also important to us.

Just here to clear up some incorrect impressions about the clean energy bill. Although Baucus voted against the bill in committee, he’s expected to support it when it comes to the full Senate, and rightly so. More coal use will tear up the land this state is so proud of, apart from polluting waters and killing tourist revenues in national parks and other wilderness areas across the state. Especially given that Montana ranks fifth in the nation for wind energy potential, we should make clean energy development our first priority before expanding traditional dirty energy use, and that’s what the clean energy bill would allow for. Clean energy also produces more jobs for the amount of energy it creates than coal mining, which at this point is done mostly by machines and explosives rather than by men. As for agricultural interests, the bill actually offers ways for Montana farmers to make extra income from carbon offsets they can easily implement and sell to polluters, and the costs of climate change damage are expected to far outweigh the costs of prevention.
Baucus and Tester both ought to be strong supporters of this bill. It offers great benefits for Montana, not to mention the rest of the country.

The American people in their unimaginable kindness and trust voted for a pig in a poke in 2008. They wanted so much to believe Barack Obama was somehow better and different from other ultra-leftists that they simply took him on faith.
They ignored his anti-white writings in his books. They ignored his quiet acceptance of hysterical anti-American diatribes by his minister, Jeremiah Wright.
They ignored his refusal to explain years at a time of his life as a student. They ignored his ultra-left record as a “community organizer,” .
The American people ignored his total zero of an academic record and his complete lack of scholarship when he was being touted as a scholar.
Now, the American people are starting to wake up to the truth.
Under Obama Care : every time you are sick or injured, you will have a federal clerk from DC telling your doctor what he can and cannot do.
The American people already know that Mr. Obama’s plan to lower health costs while expanding coverage and bureaucracy is a myth, a promise of something that never was and never will be—a bureaucracy lowering costs in a free society. Either the costs go up or the free society goes away.

During this week of Thanksgiving, among many many other blessings, I am thankful for the internet, newspapers, etc.etc. that make it possible for us to find the truth and be able to spot the phony’s and their silly slanderous stories a mile away. Wouldn’t it be a frightening world if those such as “fcb” actually had the power to influence anyone with their ridiculous posts. What a joke you are, and what a mockery your make of freedom of speech.

The “Change” is to kill the free enterprise system and further career politicians who will own the right to tell us how to think. The dumbing down of America is the real insurgency. We’ve voted for change and boy are we getting it.
Fortunately, it looks like Montanan’s are not going to be for a second four years of this scary administration.

What single emotion most represents the fcb, Montana Trace style of post…Fear…that’s understandable for the right reasons(I guess).
But you guys needa relax.
There are a lot of built in self correcting mechanisims in the American ‘system’. You guys are actually a part of that…but your tendency toward bizarre hyperbole makes you sound a little shrill.

I imagine the home life of these dear people who are screaming. Hanging on to the old myths can’t work. The John Wayne World was made in Hollywood. Relax, work together. Creative cooperation will make better ways.
People need to breathe, get into their hearts, slow their own pulse.
Hating, fearing ,and fighting give no help A very poor change. Attitudes flying wildly.
My dad, longtime logger was happy. He saw good. He loved the world and the people here. Optimisitc. Now, why do people think their days have to be saturated with anger? It isn’t the way to live. Heart attacks, addiction, crisis, family disruptions follow. Be happy, enjoy your life, love your neighbor, love your family, love the weather. Bodies sicken when beliefs are negative.

Amen to that!

I will admit that Kellyn has a valid point - if things turn around in the next year or so, the political winds may change in Montana. If they stay the same or get worse, then Montana will be nothing more than a forethought in the mind of the “anointed one” as support falls away. I don’t really see the former happening.

Obama’s fall in the poll numbers are from the Democrats themselves -
Obama has ben acting like a republican not a marxist.
And anyway the rightwingers never supported Obama and NEVER will! even if he magically turned into reagan..
name one thing he’s done that will help the average American instead of the average multi-billion dollar corporation?
1. bailout? straight to the banks - very very litle help for the average American getting squeezed….
2. health care- has simply turned into a handout for the insurance companies- whcih by the way have been granted anti-trust exemptions - ie the monopolies are valid and codified…
3. war oh endless war- hasn’t brought the troops home and now wants more troops in the graveyard of empirialists - afgansistan
4. hasn’t closed gitmo - although he says he still will - his answer is to simply open a new gitmo at bagram in iraq….
5. in goldman we trust - the bush yes men of bernanke and geitner et al are still running the show - with nothing but a 23 trillin dollar bill from the FED to show for it -
6. obama said he wanted to raise taxes on those making more than a million a year - guess what - he’s now talking about making bushes tax cuts permanenet
7. free trade - Obama went to mexico and railed against any sort of sensible trade policy where the USA actually charges other countries what they charge us in tarriffs….
8. we can’t even sign the landmine treaty - are we so small as an army that we have to rely on landmines to fight our wars with? over 150 countries have signed the landmine ban - the ones that haven’t? china, n korea, somolia, cuba, columbia - great company we keep
9. climate change- Obama has announced that he is not going to go to Copenhagen and ask for a climate change treaty - he’s all in favor of the industry policing itself…..
10. the honduras coup against a legally elected president - basically an exact copy of the Haiti coup presided over by bush the shrub!
1. and for baucus - this health care debate has shown baucuses true colors as a sellout to the insurance companies -
so what we have actually is a democratic president that is acting EXACTLY LIKE A REPUBLICAN PRESIDENT…....
and we wonder why his numbers have fallen?
and if Obama doesn’t win re-election it’ll be because he’s lost support among the progressives and the 1st time voters that believed that Obama would actually be different that the corporate sellouts that have occupied the WHite House for so long?
progressives and the 1st time voters are going to say “WHY BOTHER”
By JB on 11-30-09
Woody, I’m shocked…absolutely stunned. You nailed it…on absolutely every point you made.
Obama absolutely brought in the same “fake badges” that Bush had in his cabinet - along with a bunch of other undesirables - and only made a bad situation worse - proving Obama is as much of a sellout to the military/industrial complex as Bush ever was.
Allow me to add to your list:
12. Cash for Clunkers - not only did the government loan the
car companies money, it gave incentives for those people still working to buy new cars from them - saddling consumers with even more debt in an attempt to get the auto industry moving again.
By woody on 11-30-09
cash for clunkers I didn’t forget - THAT program actually put money into poor and middle class people’s pockets…..
unlike every other program above - which continues the trickle down nightmare of the reagan revolution
the number disaster in this country could well have been reagan meeting nancy and being brainwashed by nancy’s rigthwingnut step-father…...
AT least the progressives in the democratic party are not afraid to stand up to our leaders UNLIKE the republicans that just ROLLED over to bush ......and didn’t start complaining about him until he was convienently out of power
besides as bad as Obama is - can you imagine if Mccain and Pain were in the WHite Hosue
then we’d have a true disaster that would dwarf all the problems we now have
You rightwingers should love it - if you look to his actual policies and forget your racism then obama is actually your perfect politician - and obama is further to the right than even nixon was…...
By JB on 11-30-09
Say hello to the new boss, same as the old boss…sounds like a politician to me.

Woody, I am curious, are you employed? Possibly by *gasp* a business? Just about all of your posts are anti-business and one has to assume that you have been living on government cheese for a long time now because you certainly wouldn’t bite the hand that feeds you.
How exactly did cash for clunkers put money into poor and middle class pockets? I am confused here. This program basically encouraged people to go out and get in debt to buy a new car that they really didn’t need and the car was most likely purchased very closely to MSRP. To make matters worse, once the salesman got his piece of the action, they sent these poor folks to the finance guy who sold them all sorts of things they didn’t need and then informed them that their loan was going to be at a higher interest rate.
The only thing the cash for clunkers program did was put money in the pockets of those at GMAC…who does financing for both GM and Chrystler now.
By Vud on 12-01-09
“Did you know the poor folks taking “advantage” of the cash for clunkers will have to pay income taxes on their ‘blessings(?)”
Heheheh…You KNOW mb…a person could actually get rich on a deal like that, don’tcha?
Go ahead crunch the numbers that would have applied in your situation…we’ll wait.
By woody on 12-01-09
actually I’m self employed….that means I create jobs .... and it also means that I can enjoy the total fruits of my labor instead of having it go to some fatcat flying to monte carlo in his private jet…...
and maybe that’s why I have a big house on the river…....but who really cares? what does that have to do w/ anything besides you don’t actually understand what I’m writing and feel the need to insult me instead to hide your ignorance….
why does it always come down to I must be poor because I feel the working and middle class are getting the shaft from pro-corportist deregulation madmen running our country…
and EVERY ONE OF YOUR BRILLIANT IDEAS always consists of giving more power to the weathy and the corporations…..
Or just one of you so-called libertarians give me one idea you have that doesn’t furthur enrich the wealthy at the expense of the people who actually CREATE SOMETHING OF VALUE in this country
it’s basic david ricardo economics…. take a peice of raw material and shape it into something of value .... that extra value is the true value of labor…it’s called productivity and in a truly free market that isn’t run by 5 mega-corporations and their subsidaries - incluing the gov
wages follow productivity - for the last 30 years wages have been stagnant- while productivity has gone thru the roof…..
proof we have to enforce the Sherman Anti- trust act and break up many of these companies in the US…not just banks but exxon, GE, etc etc
those big companies are predators and vampires on the US economy….
and you rightwingers want to give them more power!!!!!!!!!
you won’t be happpy til we are a 3rd world country I guess….
and the definition of having ZERO EMPATHY is being a sociopath…. which fits perfectly w/ the laisse-faire reichwingnuts herein.
By Scott on 12-01-09
Self employed but willing to fund more government programs with higher taxes? I doubt it, especially if you have to hire a CPA to navigate the tax code like we do.
By JB on 12-03-09
At least I can take comfort in knowing I can do something with my dollars other than burning them to keep warm…that is, after I am done buying gold with them.
