The immediate aid needed is humongous and the long term problem is giving the people HOPE. I’d bet no one has a answer to that problem….....HOPE is essential to get out of this place they live…..day to day misery in normal life…..now an earthquake and triple misery and no hope.

This rebuilding of Haiti is going to take years & years…...and still deal with a population that is growing to fast to give the new borns any hope.

Haiti is just like the Afgan area…...poor people, no education, no sanitation, day to day life….offers little hope…..and then the USA is going to spend years helping them get back to what…...poverty & over population.

Least, while aid is being offered by lots of countries…....offer the people “birth control pills”.......or risk a population explosion that will ruin any recovery chances???
