Funny that I have read your article. Yesterday our computer got sick and finally quit. My husband is cheap when it comes to protecting our computers. We have always used AVG with “other” computers. So when we received our new one of course we went the cheap route. Come to find out it was what made all of our computers sick and die. So, I say don’t be cheap and download protection from the internet, have a dealer do their magic and pay the extra money to get it done right. If worse comes to worse get a MAC.

Yep the net is full of risk to your PC. I finally switched to a MAC. My kids have had MAC’s for years. No problems like you have with PC’s. Yes you pay a little more up front and you don’t have access to many software programs that are supported by windows, unless you install windows on your MAC, but why would you? I recommend doing some research on MAC’s before you buy that next machine. I think the other thing about MAC’s is Apple controls the quality of the the hardware, unlike PC’s that are manufactured with a wide variety of quality from many sources. Cheap is exactly what the standard is in the PC industry, according to my computer witch doctor who only works on PC’s. If you want quality even with a PC you have to pay more for it. Well I went MAC and I am not going back. My life is so much more simple without the constant PC headache. And stay away from those horoscope sites and free psychic readings on line. Oh and those cheap meds that you are spammed with just block them. You can go into your main email account at your providers site, like Bresnan and block these messages before they hit your in box. Good Luck

Gee Dave, what a bummer. Your computer acts up and you are able to get but one dig in at us open-minded, progressive liberals. Not sure what “code” you’re talking about, unless you’re referring to the oxymoronic “compassionate christian conservatives.”
