nice article and I get what you are saying…however, Senator Clinton is female and that alone conjurs up an image of the underdog.

Hillary Clinton has worked very hard to discredit Senator Obama and to turn her supporters against the Democratic Party. The result is that many of Clinton’s supporters are convinced that Barack Obama is the devil and that John McCain would make a much better president.

This is why I want her to stay in the race: she needs to hang on until she is fully, 100% discredited. Until it is blatantly obvious that she is acting purely out of personal ambition. Until she becomes such a longshot that even her most tenacious supporters are embarrassed for her. I want her to stay in the race so that she can make increasingly desperate moves: tales of her Bosnian heroism were the start, but there are preliminary signs that she’s starting to play the gender card by having her surrogates launch accusations of sexism. She needs to become desperate to the point of foolishness, then she needs to make ridiculous excuses for why she didn’t win, and then she needs to concede gracelessly.

In short, she needs to stay in the game until she has completely discredited herself, so that after she is gone her former supporters will question the things she told them: that Barack is worthless, that McCain would be a good president. The Democratic Party can still come together—it can come together over the smoldering remains of Hillary Clinton’s political reputation.

So you go, Hillary. Run like you’ve never run before. Launch your “kitchen sink” attacks. Convince your donors to threaten Pelosi. Tell your supporters to vote Republican. Regale us with war stories from Bosnia. And whine about how the mean old boys won’t let you be president. Don’t hold back. Simple failure is not good enough—you need to go out in a blaze of inglorious silliness, and you seem to be making every effort to do so.

Obama Dream Team

1.  Mr. Antoin Rezko who holds a dual US-Iraqi citizenship, instead of handing cash to Mr. Obama, Rezko handed Obama a preferential price for property. This is the same form of “honest graft” and preferential treatment that sent former Illinois Governor Otto Kerner to jail over 30 years ago, see United States v. Isaacs, 493 F.2d 1124 (7th Cir. 1974).

Rezko’s connection to Obama began well before Obama ran for office and helped secure funds for Obama’s initial campaigns. As a major mob figure, Rezko’s is NOT a civic-minded fellow who simply enjoys political fundraising because he delights in good government.

It is also important to note that Mr. Rezko is a long time associate of IRAQI billionaire Nadhmi Auchi and recently Rezko received a $3.5 million loan from Mr. Auchi which helped to fund the homes Obama and Rezko bought.

2. The Auchi-Obama links go beyond the mansion deal with Rezko. The Times of London February 1 reports uncovering, “state documents in Illinois recording that Fintrade Services, a Panamanian company, lent money to (an) Obama fundraiser in May 2005. Fintrade’s directors include Ibtisam Auchi, the name of Mr. Auchi’s wife.“

Auchi’s Saddam links trace back to a failed 1959 assassination attempt on the life of then-Iraqi-prime-minister Abdul Karim Qasim.  Auchi prospered mightily in Saddam’s regime collecting “commissions” on sale of weapons and other goods to Iraq in the 1980s and 1990s.
Also Auchi was a beneficiary of Saddam Oil for Food fraud that channeled millions of dollars to heads of state, activists, terrorists, and journalists—many of whom returned the favor by backing Saddam in 2003 when the US finally invaded.

“(In 2004) Mr. Auchi traveled by private aircraft to Midway Airport in Chicago and then to a fete at the Four Season Hotel, where he met with his business partner in Chicago real estate, Mr. Rezko, as well as with Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. Also present that night, according to a fresh report by James Bone and Dominic Kennedy of the London Times, was State Senator Barack Obama, who had recently won the Democratic primary for the U.S. Senate seat….“

Living in the UK, Mr. Auchi is now listed as Britain’s 18th-richest man.
Auchi was denied entry into the US in 2005. It is believed that he was attempting in 2005 to win a US visa with the help of Rezko several as-yet-unnamed Illinois political figures.

3.  James Meeks – an Illinois state senator and pastor of Obama.
Last week Mr. Meeks called white American mayors “slave masters” and referred to black preachers and politicians who “protect” the “white man” as “house n-ggers.“
He was recorded telling the mostly black congregation any “white Christian” who doesn’t vote for him is a “racist.“
Obama attends Bible Study Classes with Meeks.  Meeks is one of Obama’s Super Delegates and is listed on Obama’s campaign website as prominent black supporter

4.  Mr. Wright pastor of Trinity United Church of Christ which is theologically closer to Karl Marx and Black Nationalism, than to Christianity was Obama’s mentor for over 20 years and Obama’s spiritual campaign advisor. 
Mr. Wright violent rhetoric against whites, gays and the American government are reminiscent of Hitler hate speeches. 

Obama’s church published an open letter from a Palestinian activist that labels Israel an “apartheid” regime and claims that scientist are working on an “ethnic bomb” that kills “blacks and Arabs.“

Obama’s Trinity United Church of Christ also defends terrorism as legitimate resistance, refuses to recognize the right of Israel to exist and compares the Hamas official charter – which calls for the murder of Jews – to America’s Declaration of Independence.

Following Mr. Obama’s speech defending Mr. Wright, Mr. Obama telephoned Mr. Wright.  Shortly after that phone call, Mr. Wright retired as pastor and was given a 1.6 million dollar home. 

5.  Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn were members of the Weather Underground, a group that killed police and tried to bomb the US Capitol. 
Obama served with Ayers on the board of a small, leftist foundation, the Woods Fund from 1999 until 2002 and received several thousand dollars annually as compensation.

According to the 2001 annual report, the fund made a $6000 discretionary grant to Rev. Wright’s Trinity United Church “in recognition of Barack Obama’s contribution of services to the Woods Fund as a director.“

In a recent interview with the New York Times Mr. Ayers said: “I don’t regret setting bombs; I feel we didn’t do enough.“

6.  Merrill A. McPeak is Obama’s military adviser and national campaign co-chairman.  Mr. McPeak said that American Jews are the “problem.“
McPeak has claimed “Christian Zionists were driving America’s policy in Iraq to benefit Israel.”

b langley’s remarks about Clinton’s gender (speaking of Hillary’s actual gender and not the one preferred by Bill) is a bit short sighted. One only has watch Laila Ali to understand how tough a woman can be. And she’s (Ali) a pretty good boxer, too.

Still, I understand the commentary: comparing Hillary with Rocky would be similar to doing the same with Ron Paul and Rambo. The implausibility gives me a headache.

With regard to the former I would like to add my thoughts to those made by Mr. Brown.

When he defeated Apollo Creed, Rocky is soon surrounded by those who intend to “cash in” on his fame. Hillary, on the other hand, always appears to be the one doing the cashing in, whether investing in cattle futures or buying speculative land in Arkansas.

After marrying Adrian, Rocky came to rely on her brother Pauly. Though somewhat of a hustler, his loyalty to Rocky was an important sub-plot to the story. In comparison, Hillary’s brother-in-law Roger, was arrested for cocaine and even though he received a presidential pardon has yet to be seen helping Hillary with her campaign.

Rocky had a loyal spouse who, despite her fears, encouraged him to go after his dream. Hillary has Bill.

And finally, when we watch Rocky we know the story is fictional. But when we listen to Hillary, we can’t always tell what is true, what is false, and what has been caused by sleep deprivation caused by those annoying 3:00 AM phone calls!

Oh yeah, about Ron Paul and Rambo. One regularly lays his larger-than-life on the line as he seeks to put an end to injustice and evil. The other brought his 98-pounds to the forefront of an inconceived national revolution.

The story line for both should be classified as “fiction.”
