What do you think genius….

Stewie…I was just being silly. However, where I live “engulfed” means flooded with water as well as burning en masse. I forgot that in Montana the likelihood of something being flooded out in the middle of winter is remote, at best! Thanks for responding!

But I live in MT and am curious—could be run-off surface water/snow melt over frozen ground, or high ground water, or dust, ... or flames
in what?

It seems as if my purposeful ambiguity has ignited quite the discussion…

The only thing that your “purposeful ambiguity” demonstrates is why you are reporting on the police blotter in Northwest Montana. Maybe you can enroll in some journalism courses at FCC before your “journalism” is submitted to the Tonight Show for national humiliation.

I have friends in Illinois call me here and are laughing about the police blotter. They bring the Beacon with them to work. ( mailed subscriber) They love it. Keep up the good work julius. Its fresh funny and has elements of sure genius. The above comments are just jealous they don’t have your obvious sense of humor.

I’ll report the incident. It wasn’t a home, it was a garage. The fire dept is guessing that mice had built a nest in the motor of a freezer in the garage. That caused a short in the freezer motor in the middle of the night, sparking a fire that destroyed the entire garage plus it’s contents. Dang mice!!!
