Comments on: Northern Border Also Needs to Be Secured

All his comments about the Northern Border are fair, especially being only as strong as your weakest link. When he gives examples of the kind of things that have gone on the Northern Border to justify what they are doing is a FARCE. Simply go to the cbp.gov website and look in news release. The entire amount of bad things that happened on the Northern Border this year doesn’t equate to a single weekend worth of activity at just ONE port on the Southern Border points. They have found 100’s of thousands of pounds of illicit drugs and millions of dollars worth of smuggled money. That doesn’t account for the dozen rapists, murderers and other bad people they have caught down there. Even scarier is the illegal amount of weapons they continually find. I am not embellishing these facts go look for yourself. So for him to bring up the few things that have discovered on the Northern Border is a joke compared to the all out war that’s on at the Mexican border. Politicians are Politicians. All this Northern Border crackdown does is discourage real tourists from Canada who want to spend money and add value to the local MT economies from coming down. Maybe he should worry about that more than telling half truths about all the bad things they have prevented on the Northern Border.
