THANKS KELLYN!You always have some of The best more informative articles at the Beacon.Hopefully this will wake some people up to the fact that the “The new boss same as the old boss”.Nobama will back most of what Bush has done. They both work for the NWO{central banks}They are both GLOBALIST.They dont care about what “the people"want.Cause they dont work for US"GET IT? Alot of people voted for Nobama because of the lies he told us about ending the war.And bringing our troops home. But now Nobama is expanding the war in Afghanistan.LIE AFTER LIE AFTER LIE.You libs should be infuriated.I hope we will all wake up to the fact that the gov only uses parties to keep us fighting among one another so that we will not focus on the true problem we have which is a tyrannical out of control demon possessed gov.

Well, here if I recall back in August - November 08 , every little thing that W had done was going to be changed by Obama, I remember his rants !  Now that the seat is comfy in the whitehouse, I guess the view from there makes it easier to step all over our bill of rights ?
Or ( As I believe) People were again fed a pretty story ( Yeah hope was needed, BUT no one ever asked what the change was going to be, everyone just pictured what change ment to them) The voters were duped again !
Maybe next time everyone should vote on the persons track record, on his patriotisim, maybe even install lie detectors ! <smile>

Wait a minute - B.O. is making lots of changes, guys. He’s making all the changes needed to turn this country completely socialistic. I mean he’s running GM - he’s going to fix the health care system so it will be run by the government (Hmm, wonder where the Canadians will go to get health care when our system is like theirs). We got the gov. involved in our banks. No, No he’s making lots of changes - and you better keep an eye out because your rights are disappearing.

Anyone who cannot see that Obama is an evil, anti-American nightmare come true is living in a dream world (read liberal and without God).  They must wake up soon and help keep their country free.  The truly patriotic, God-fearing Americans are soon going to be left with no alternative but to take a stand against those who would take our freedoms from us.  It is an absolute shame what has happened to our sovereignty and to the office of the presidency of the United States of America.  I wish we could get George Washington back to help save this once great nation that so very many people sacrificed their lives to build.  My only comfort is in knowing I will be in paradise with Jesus before the horrible end comes.

Tony: that’s the most bizarre statement. “backward KKK hillbillies” - it really has nothing to do with this discussion. Perhaps you should read the news and see what’s going on before making those kinds of statements. Any intelligent person would realize we are in deep trouble as a country. Today YOU owe $40,000 - that’s your portion of the national debt and it’s growing. That has nothing to do with racism.
Maybe that’s spare change for you but it isn’t for me.

Tony : Here you go, I went and READ the NEWS, and will now share some of it with YOU !  That way you may drop your name calling, because as said it is FACTS !

Yahoo News: The Treasury Department said Friday that the budget deficit increased by $192.3 billion in March, and is near $1 trillion just halfway through the budget year, a record for March, was significantly higher than the $150 billion that economists expected. The deficit already totals $956.8 billion for the first six months of the budget year, also a record for that period. The Obama administration projects the deficit for the entire year will hit $1.75 trillion. A deficit at that level would nearly quadruple the previous annual record of $454.8 billion set last year. The March deficit was nearly four times the size of the imbalance in the same month last year.

TIME : The United States is still the same country it was a year ago, give or take about 6 million jobs. But its international branding campaign, as led by the new President, Barack Obama, is so different that the rest of the world might be forgiven if it has to do a double take.  Most of the hallmarks of the foreign policy of George W. Bush are gone. The old conservative idea of “American exceptionalism,” which placed the U.S. on a plane above the rest of the world as a unique beacon of democracy and financial might, has been rejected. At almost every stop, Obama has made clear that the U.S. is but one actor in a global community. Talk of American economic supremacy has been replaced by a call from Obama for more growth in developing countries. Claims of American military supremacy have been replaced with heavy emphasis on cooperation and diplomatic hard labor. At a town hall in Strasbourg, France, Obama stood before an audience of mostly French and German youth and admitted that the U.S. should have a greater respect for Europe. “In America, there’s a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world,” he said before offering other European critical views of his country. “There have been times where America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”

Associated Press :Tinkering with Earth’s climate to chill runaway global warming — a radical idea once dismissed out of hand — is being discussed by the White House as a potential emergency option, the president’s new science adviser said Wednesday.Shooting sulfur particles (like those produced by power plants and volcanoes, for example) into the upper atmosphere, an idea that gained steam when it was proposed by Nobel laureate Paul Crutzen in 2006. It would be “basically mimicking the effect of volcanoes in screening out the incoming sunlight,” Holdren said. But he said there could be grave side effects. Studies suggest that might include eating away a large chunk of the ozone layer above the poles and causing the Mediterranean and the Mideast to be much drier.

Yeah ahh Tony, these are not from eight years ago, these are in the last 2 days !  and also I am not a Republican, nor am I a democrat. However I am an American, and have every right to be very concerned about the condition of our country ! ( For your narrow and misguided information also I was not happy with Bush)  Thats just it…...... Where is all this leading to getting BETTER ??

Actually most of this mess - think sub-prime mortgages began in the Clinton years when mortgage companies were encouraged to give loans to people who weren’t qualified. Not in the last 8 years.
The rapid change toward socialism was definitely not started in the last 8 years. B.O. (i know it stinks) can take complete credit for that.
I would consider myself a moderate and can easily vote Republican or Democrat - i do believe in social programs, but I do not believe in “redistribution of wealth” via socialism - I think we know that doesn’t work.

I agree with you Tony.  The world has spent the last 8 years watching the disasterous effects the last administration was dealing out.  I for one am hopeful.  Maybe it isn’t what some expected, but we couldn’t expect miracles.  After all, it’s only been 2 1/2 months.  I do agree this has been building for many many years, but the last 8 gave it the final push.
There was evidence before our President took over than many other countries were anxious to patch up this rift.  After all we must all share this same earth.  What a great step forward.

Love is the only God that I’ll ever believe in.

The books of the holy bible never say but one time just exactly what God is, and in those three little words it pours out a hundred million college educations and says, God Is Love.

And that is the only real definite answer to ten thousand wild queries and questions that I my own self tossed at my bible. That is the only really sensible, easy, honest, warm, plain, quick and clear answer I found - when I was ready to throw so-called fearful cowardly thieving poisoning religion out my trash door, it was those three words that made not only religion, but also several other sorts of superstitious fears and hatreds in me meet one very quick death.

God is Love.
