Comments on: Obama Celebrates Fourth in Montana

By Roark on 07-04-08

I’m glad Obama is disgracing Independence Day in Butte than in Kalispell.

Roark, you disgrace your town.  There’s nothing wrong with a Presidential candidate celebrating the 4th watching a good Montana parade.

Obama’s political philosophy is a disgrace to any who value liberty.

Amen, Roark….JUST SAY NO…..NOBAMA!!!

you racist nitwits, shut up

By Roark on 07-05-08

First, I “shut the f**k up” for nobody. And second, I’m a racist because….? You see folks, this sort of foul mouthed bullying is typical of the left who cannot defend their idea’s on any rational philosophical grounds. The left’s mantra is might makes right, NOT right makes right.

You go Roark!!!  Hey JC, go play with the apostles, you right wing fundamentalist jerk!!!

By JB on 07-05-08

Roark and JB.. you feed off of attention with your rants. Very sad, but there are always a few people like you in life no matter how hard you try to avoid them. You do no one any good, but yourselves. Good luck with that. You are two people… we’ll see what the silent masses say in November.

Sadly, I think that Obama will win in November. Personally I am voting for Bob Barr. Obama’s popularity is a telling gage of the moral bankruptcy of the USA. Our nation is in dire need of new intellectuals who will defend reason, objectivity, individual rights, and laissez-faire capitalism. A second renaissance in philosophy is needed now more than ever. The “ messiah’s” (aka Obama) message of “change” and “hope” (although he never specifiy’s what that entails) is an empty sepulcher of anti-life collectivism where man is nothing but a pawn of the state meant to serve others and where being personally happy and successful is considered a “selfish” crime. You’re right, I do no one any good but myself, because I live for myself and MY values, neither sacrificing myself for others or making them sacrifice themselves to me. It’s called LIBERTY.

You really think we have a representative democracy as a government?  I suppose you also think that voting really makes a difference in who gets elected.  Who becomes President is not a function of the popular vote or even the electoral college…its a function of whoever the government wants in office.  Quite frankly, I will be surprised if Obama becomes President…more likely, it will become McCain.  Not that either candidate is worth anything to the American people.  Either way, it will not be a President that will do anything other than serve his own political agenda.

By JB on 07-06-08

The last sentence should read:  “Either way, it will be a President that will NOT do anything other than serve his own political agenda.“

HMMMM where was John McShame for the 4th of July?

Spending it with his kids?  Nope cheated on their mother!
Spending it in America?  Nope, not a word!

Who is the patriotic candidate now?  Not McShame!

McCain is a liberal statist that will end America through perpetual warfare and bankruptcy.  Obama is a liberal statist that will end America through perpetual warfare and bankruptcy.  These are facts.  You cannot argue them away, just as you cannot argue away gravity.  Obama wants to exacerbate our commitments in the middle east and expand our military presence into Pakistan as well as Syria.  Obama wants war, war and more war.  Obama wants to expand social programs, giving away the money from those who work to those who do not work.  McCain wants to be in Iraq, “for 100 years” as he was quoted as saying.  McCain wants war, war and more war.  McCain wants to kill everyone foreigners and domestic that stands in the way of the expanding American Empire.  Both of these candidates are dangerous servings of the same plate of lies, just prepared differently and presented with a different garnish.  One a zebra donkey the other an elephant with jaw cancer.  Both have nearly identical pro-war, pro-big government, pro-federal reserve, anti-constitution, anti-human rights, anti-AMERICAN agendas!  I urge all of you to sign the petition today found at http://www.givemeliberty.org  Help save this forsaken nation.  What better time than now, what better place than here?  Fight the war and fight the NORM!

Citizen Kane, some of what you just stated is incorrect and philosophically dishonest. Obama is not war hungry. Read his website issues on foreign policy and examine his voting record! He is a guilt ridden American who lacks moral judgement of right and wrong which is why all the islamist tyrants of the middle east (and Kim Jong Il) support him for President. Obama is a weaklling on his stance of identifying the enemies of western values, primarily islams anti-liberty religious fanaticism and their fervour to subject the entire world to allah or be killed. The islamists know that if Obama is elected he will be a soft, apologetic negotiator for US policy that will only work in favor of those committed to the destruction of th US and Israel. Your accusation that McCain wants to kill everyone who stands in America’s way of “empire building” is a complete lie. Where is your evidence??? You’re guilty of package dealing concepts when you try to tie a lie to something that is obviously nothing more than your dishonest opinion. Reality doesn’t change just because you may want it to. And I find it rather disturbing that, in essence, you are blaming the US for the evil of Islam, but you are not holding Islam accountable for its own anti-life and anti-liberty zealotry. I agree that both candidates are big government politicians, as evidenced by their respective voting records in the US Senate, i.e. John McCain will only grow government by 2% per annum whereas Obama will grow it by 6%. That is why I am voting in for Bob Barr in November.
