While these stone-cold Socialists continue to cover up the murder of Americans in Benghazi, ignores the out-of -control murder rates in Los Angeles County, Oakland Ca., and other Socialist captive
Cities, they and their lackeys are jumping out of their Socialist Skins in an attempt to exploit yet
another tragedy to further erode law abiding American liberties!

All of our mass murders in the last 20 years have occurred in “Gun Free Zones”. The two people murdered a couple of days earlier in the shopping center in Clackamas, Oregon were also in a “Gun
Free Zone”.
One measure of insanity is repeating the same failure time after time hoping that the next time the
failure will turn out to be a success. “Gun Free Zones” are a lethal insanity.
We must tell our elected officials that they are acting as the criminals’ friends as long as they
continue to support legislation that only protects criminals, not law abiding citizens.

Getting rid of assault weapons is not the answer. Restricting the clips to ten rounds is not the answer. A person can just pack MORE of the ten rounders. Just look at what happened in
China. A lunatic over there stabbed 28 kindergarten children. You can’t just say something is
against the law and the problem that SOMETHING causes disappears. Look at the “war” on
drugs…has been working well…look at driving after drinking too much…works really well.
Having armed seci urity at every school across America will not work because too many people
are not willing to PAY for that..especially parents who were able to get THEIR children through
school without incident…Lunatics are lunatics and you can’t legislate ANYTHING to stop them.

Indeed, China’s knife and hammer attacks are also terrifying and tragic. 22 children were injured in the latest attack in China. None were killed. Legislative solutions will not entirely stop violent acts
but limiting civilian access to assault weapons and high capacity magazines may make them less
lethal. Like drunk driving and the drug war, the Newtown incident exposed major societal problems
that need to be addressed, but citing these other evils and tossing up our hands is not a solution.
Outside of our culture of violence, the issues in the Connecticut shooting involved a crazy person
who had access to weapons of war. If we are not willing to accept the status quo, the solutions will
require that we address our mental health system and discuss (and implement) sensible gun
control. The societal issues will take much more work but ‘giving up hope’ is one of our issues; to
contend that, ‘the solutions to unrelated problems haven’t had 100% success, therefore, we should
do nothing to address this one’ is, frankly, doing just that.

The best way to reign in these out of control Socialist lunatics is for the House to pass the AMERICANS WITH NO ABILITIES ACT which would require the President and each member of
Congress to pass a written and oral(lie detector) test on the Constitution and the Bill of Rights! Failure
to pass would automatically disqualify the perpetrator(s) from holding any Governmental office!

As a life time member of the NRA I know that if we promoted more gun safes and gun locks it would cut down on random gun violence. To what degree, that would depended how much we implemented the plan.

bad guys. That’s is established. What is in question though is why weapons that are designed
to kill people in large numbers are allowed to be sold to the general public. As long as that is
going on there will be more mass murders. This is common sense. WHY would any person
need to keep an assault weapon in their home. That is beyond everything reasonable.
Further, people are driving around with loaded weapons in the cars, two children were killed in
Seattle within a month of each other when they ‘played’ with the loaded weapon they found in
the family car. If you added-up all the children that are dying or injured every single day in
these situations it would far surpass the incident in Connecticut. We need to look at the bigger
picture, get real, and decide if we want this to continue.

For twenty years Steven Michael Stagner’s family tried to have him committed for a well defined series of mental problems. They were told nothing could be done unless he killed someone. He
did. He killed four. He is now in a state hospital for probably the rest of his life.
His family stated they would work to change the laws that do not provide protection for the mentally
ill or their potential victims.
When will we ever deal intelligently with this problem? If we tried, would the ACLU say we were
infringing on the rights of the mentally ill?
