Comments on: Palin, Biden Spar on Iraq, Economic Crisis

Sarah Palin was a talking points spouting twit.  If you were paying attention, especially as the debate reached its final third, she was furiously shuffling through her notecards of buzzwords.

She is wholly unqualified to be a heart beat away from the Presidency.

Do some ‘fact checks”.  Neither got it all right.  Not even close.  As I’ve mentioned before, truth was the first casualty of this election.  Integrity appears sorely wounded by both sides.  As for qualifications, Obama isn’t ready either.

Sarah Palin is mostly fluff in my opinion. Both candidates spoke mostly in vague generalities with occasional allusions to their respective party platforms. There was a complete lack of substance and a direct answers with detailed explanations to the questions posed. America is getting her just desserts with these two from a citizenry that is uneducated, ill-informed, and morally bankrupt.

Can’t argue with that at all.  Right on.  The political spectrum has narrowed to vague sound-bites and empty promises.  Tax reform? nah - maybe a token decrease in income tax, but watch-out for huge increases in commodity taxes.  The gov’t WILL TAKE OUR MONEY.  And, we’re partially to blame, we elected them.  we want it all, want it now, and want it all “free”.  Anyway - this campaign is all about making promises to the folks.  but, don’t expect those promises to be honored.
