As an 85 year young citizen of Helena I take it as an honor to vote for the President of the United States and until a few days ago was undecided.
Was visiting family in Portland and had the opportunity to attend rallies by both Senators.
Senator Obama is quite the orator - I believe he could read the phone book and have the crowd in an uproar - especially the younger first time voters almost looking at him as a rock star - his two main words of HOPE and CHANGE brought the rally to their feet - however at the end of the day when I started to recall what was said - I came up with NOTHING - Change - change Washington politicans - and yet accept endorsements from them - that doesn’t come for free - and quite frankly felt like he did not even want to be at that rally and was looking towards the general election and was just going through the movements - sorry - Senator there are three more primaries of voters wishing to have their opinions known - and I am from Montana - I will NOT be dismissed or have my vote taken for granted - you have to earn it - you did not.
Senator Clinton on the other hand was WARM, considerate, intelligent, wanting to be there with us and had solid solutions to all our questions from healthcare to family owned farms, to student loans to the economy - to name just a few on the list.
HOPE - that would be Bill Clinton and Brad Pitt in New Orleans giving hope to that community for reconstruction - Hillary Clinton attended later on a rally for the same purpose - EVEN THOUGH SHE HAD NOT RECEIVED THEIR VOTES - Obama was too busy with his campaign to attend - guess he got what he wanted already from them - just another Washington politican.
Then there is the problem with The Pastor, The Church, The Wedding, and The Baptism of the children - how on earth can you be “unaware” of somone’s viewpoints for 20 years - I do not want someone in the White House that just might be “unaware” of Iran, Russia, China or North Korea let alone the likes of Ayers, Rezko, and Pastor Wright THAT WE KNOW ABOUT TODAY.
I have chosen Senator Hillary R Clinton as the most experienced candidate with the fight, the vision, the plans and the ability to lead us into the future - please fellow citizens from Montana and especially Kalispell help me get her the popular vote so that she can go to the convention - and help us help ourselves - we from Montana do not want a hand out - just a fair chance for the future.
GOD BLESS OUR AMERICA
