Is Dupont so deep in Larsen’s pants pocket that he calls him instead of the planning office or planning board chairperson? Poor Jim and Dale think they owe the Larsens and Lapps everything for being elected. Don’t they know they didn’t need to sell themselves out?

Dear Mongo:Thanks for thinking of me! You should know I’m also responsible for Katrina, the California wildfires, and inventing the internet.

Good comment and question, Truther ! I’m wondering why Brenneman couldn’t be contacted for his vote. Unless he’s on the far side of the moon…....

The Beacon should make inquiries of both Eisentraut and Dupont to determine if there ever has been a relationship between the two which would make this contract invalid or the report biased.

The only sensable thing to do. I am tired of my taxes going to control nuts in the Flathead. It’s time the good people of the county take control and get these freaks out.
The people who think they own land in the Flathead should read the treaty with the Indians. They own nothing, they took it, lazy bums.

Thank you, Lapp, for clearing that up. I was sure Larsen invented the internet.

Dear Mongo and Truther:
Thank you for your concern. It’s always gratifying when true friends look out for me. If you care to discuss any of the above issues in person, feel free to give me a call. I’m in the book,

Rather than financial issues, I would prefer a look at ethics within the plng dept and the way Harris and his lemmings kiss certain developers’ backsdes and then do everything they can to obstruct other projects. They were wined, dined and entertained by a certain Bigfork-area developer whose project sailed thru the process. They butted heads with another developer and guess what? His project was put thru the grinder and rec’d a negative recommendation - and eventuial denial. The staff report for the latter was full of misinformation. And is it a coincidence that the MT Planners Convention was held at Flathead Lake Lodge????? Nice kickback.

Wouldb1: As a former employee of the planning office and the original planner on the Saddlehorn project to which you refer in your post, I can assure you the development was approved because of its quality. Sailed through the process? Hardly. The developer, Bigfork residents, staff, and planning board worked diligently to ensure impacts were addressed and that they were mitigated through a laundry list of conditions. As for the lemming comment, anyone who knows me is aware that I have my own mind and do not blindly follow anyone. Like Mr. Lapp above, feel free to contact me. I’m not in the book, but I’m easy to find.

If the investigation - like those already performed by the county auditors office and the county attorney’s office - finds no grounds or base for the claims made by American Dream and “auto hostage Dale Williams,” shouldn’t these people and groups be responsible for paying the taxpayers back for the costs of their frivilous political witchhunt?

As my late husband liked to say, I found kirstenh’s post “curious,” as I was not referring to Saddle Horn, but another more recent project in the area. One could infer from her post that the SH developers also wined and dined staff members….which makes the Planning convention at Flathead Lake Lodge all the more “curious.” The kalispell Red Lion or Hilton and or Grouse Mtn in WF could have also hosted the event, thereby not making it “necessary” for the asst planning director to rent a room on site at a considerable expense to taxpayers. I hope the investigation looks into more than just the planners’ use of a credit card and how certain meetings were conducted. Their uneven and often unethical treatment of the people they supposedly “serve” is very bothersome.

wouldb1, I find your accusations “curious” and baseless, particularly while you hide behind a screen name. When and if you find the courage to speak openly, feel free to contact me. Until then, your innuendo and conspiracy theories are without merit.

I believe Eisentraut is retired Los Angeles PD as are alot of his employees. I don’t understand why an outside business has to come in for this. Just doesn’t make sense. Waste of money. Isn’t there another county agency that could do it? Or even a State Agency where the taxpayers money would not have to be spent.
