Let’s think about this for a minute.  Do we really need more Spanish in our kids lives?  Shouldn’t we be teaching them about America, it’s values, history, and culture?  Why do we seem as a country to be sliding toward being more separated then united as we should be.  If we all spoke one language then imagine the increase in ability for all our varied cultures here in the USA to communicate. and make progress I don’t want my kids to speak Spanish, French, German, or Chinese unless they want to visit those countries and speak THEIR language.  I believe in an English Speaking United States not a multilingual one.  Let’s instead focus on teaching English as a requirement for a green card or citizenship.  Let’s hold sports camps for people who don’t speak English and help them to learn it.
