KXZI is the best radio station in the valley. Where else can you listen to Japanese opera, Tanganyikan love songs, old-timey hillbilly country, blues with Bonnei Raitt, Robert Johnson and some jazz all mixed together?
Keep up the great work Scott!

Although we live in Ohio, we visit the Flathead as often as possible and the first thing we do when we get into the car is make sure that the radio preset includes 101.9. Often when we drive by the farmhouse in Creston, I’ll give the horn a toot (half expecting that I’ll hear myself on the radio). Most days, 2000 miles away and sitting at my desk, I tune in and if I close my eyes I can picture the neon sign (on air) and the silhouette of Scott doing what we all should be doing - something we love. Thanks for the comment.

What a nice discovery! Thank you for doing this story about KXZI. I work at home and during the day listen to talk radio during the day…and have taken to switching to KXZI later in the day. I really enjoy the variety of music played and enjoy hearing bits about the goings on in the Flathead Valley…where we have 6 acres we don’t get to see often enough.

Wow! Thanks everyone for the kind words. And a special thanks to you Myers for the article - and yeah, get out here on the front porch; the coffee’s on, and your all welcome.

My son and daughter in law live in the Flathead Valley. He introduced me to 101.9 while visiting them. I stream it into North Carolina and now have many others in our city listening to you. What a great station! I live Blue Grass, Americana music and all the variety I hear. I even introduced a business associate of mine in Springdale, AR to it who lives part time in Sealey Lake. Keep up the great station and eat more Green Mountain Gringo!

I have to spend a lot of time abroad, but thanks to Scott’s wonderful efforts, community service and streaming the station on the Net, I can take the tunes and feeling of home with me wherever I go!
Thank you, Scott!
