It’s the pinnacle of dishonesty by calling a resort tax a ‘resort’ tax. A tax is a tax is a tax is a tax is a tax, and the residents are paying – of the bill.

If they are going to have this tax then the least they could do is use the revenue for the benefit of EVERYONE, not just the downtown business district. Infrastructure should always come first.
