Montana highways

But don’t forget, one of the main reasons our highways are in such good shape is because of relatively little traffic. I can drive most anywhere outside of a few Montana cities and feel I pretty near have the road to myself.

It’s a shame that Montanans don’t care enough about the fatalities to enact a seat belt law and lower the speed limits.

No- Whats a shame is that people such as yourself rely on the government to force you to behave a certain way.  Why do you feel it’s necessary to force your beliefs on everyone in the state?  Do you not think Montanans aren’t smart enough to make their own decisions?

You have to be kidding.  LOWER the speed limits?  Thats why there are more accidents now than ever before.

Our state is treating divided highways like county roads and US Highways like the Going to the Sun Highway.

Us Montana residents: we people here have long driven Safe and Reasonable for eons and now you try to force us to drive 30 mph slower than we did years ago on the same highways?

Kentucky might be a great place to herd cows with a car but we in Montana know how to drive safe and you slow pokes need to pull over when four or more cars are behind you and let them pass AND stay in the far right lane except to pass.

Good grief we have places to go and times to keep.  If you want to drive around for the scenery, go up to Glacier and drive as slow as you want.

Simpletons!!! Do you all know what this means?!?!  It means that each and every one of you odd ball Montanions will perish TWICE and a POINT TWELVE for every ONE HUNDRED MILLION MILES you drive! The average Montanion will drive twice that distance by late May 11’ EASY! What can be DONE? What can YOU DO?

Simple. The key is BACKWARDS!

For every mile that you drive backwards there is a complex type of external thermal paradineal extract that counters the lapse in the average Montanions motor skills mere seconds before a stupid act that causes their death!!!!!

So…  just drive backwards for one hundred millions miles for every one hundred million miles that you travel regularly.

You. Are. Welcome.

Einstein, you are a genius! Better hope the guvmint doesn’t try to claim credit and pass a law…
On a serious note, I’m more concerned with wildlife getting in the road than other cars.

If you read the recent article done in Reader’s digest, the reason our death toll is so high, has little to do with speed or seatbelts. Most of the deaths are animal related and drinking related.
If we cracked down harder on drinking and driving and some people actually had the courage to not practice it, the death rate would drop considerably.
HWY 93 was labeled one of the most dangerous roads in the USA because more people die on it, because of animals and drinking.
