Of Course the republicans are blaming the Good Gov for their heel-dragging. Why on earth would they do anything to let him have any successes that are good for Montana?

You have to remember that this is the republican party that even republicans are pulling away from because of their extreme tactics and sold soul to industry. They’ve got the real estate industry and extractive industries paying for all their candidates campaigns, so regular republicans get left out when the legislature comes around. They don’t want people to know the Governor’s stances on energy will actually benefit most montanans. That’s why Roy Brown did nothing but bash the governor, when he knows better than anyone else as a former oil man, the benefits that will come to Montana as a result. That will just help the democrats, and the republicans are willing to throw the baby out with the bathwater to keep it from happening.

We have a right to question government.  These republicans are fascists who would rather control us and let the corporations run the country.  I am tired of the fascist montra.

Amus and Jim are typical of the radicals who support the Governor—the Great Falls generation plant was a Cooperative not a corporation and the radical’s continual law suits drug out start-up for five years which increased cost of the plant by an extra $400 Million—it is the coop members of eastern Montana who are the losers with power bills doubling or more after the current supply contracts expire in 2011.

According to Senator Jerry Black, Montana oil production has been going down, not up as the Gov’s spokesman claims.  See:  www.rotundareport.com/?p=632

For the record, Kickbutt, I voted for Stan Jones. I don’t support radicals, which is why I’m not in the republican party anymore.

Oh, and Kick Butt, why don’t you explain to me how the increased costs of the great falls plant would boost supply costs to the eastern coop members two years from now, when the financing for the project was coming from secured and subsidized sources and prices still come under the regulation of the PSC?

Sounds like you’re just one of the radicals trying to take pot-shots at the governor any way you can.
