City to appoint selection committee, interview interim candidates

READERS RATED THIS COMMENT:

Interesting questions on the application for this position.

“Do you utilize cost of services or impact analysis?  Which models have you used and which do you prefer and why?”

Question for the interview panel: why don’t you simply ask the candidates if they are in favor of allocating costs of growth to developers or burdening the citizens directly with this cost? Why not also just flat out ask if the candidate is pro-union or anti-union?

Question for Larsen: if Howington was the best manager Kalispell has seen, why was she your second choice and why did she barely outlast Krepps and what exacly did she accomplish?

Her claim to have brought the reserves up by $750,000 does not reveal the losses she created in settlements to lawsuits. The net increase on her watch was barely mentionable.

Request for D. Tabish: please be objective in your reporting. These are one-sided articles that you keep writing about Howington. Come talk to the employees to get a more accurate picture. Talk to the union and non-union employees.
