Comments on: Shunning Butterballs for Hutterites
Let’s be civil.
The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), convict someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail webmaster [at] flatheadbeacon.com.

When it comes to making stunningly ignorant, hateful and judgemental statements, you have managed to out-do yourself.

What the f**k are you talking about.  The Hutterites with which I’m acquainted do not even use alcohol, other than the delicous wines they prepare for THEMSELVES.

This kind of propaganda from these cruel ignorant wingnuts leads to violence against these wonderful people.

They have already burned several barns owned by Hutterites east of the mountains.

Roark, shut the f**k up.

Some people express hatred toward something they don’t understand. Such hatred has clearly been expressed by Roark. People don’t give it the time of day to understand the Hutterites and their way of life, but most that do, don’t regret it.
But there is one thing Hutterites believe in, Jesus Chirst NEVER turned his back on those that judged him, or did him wrong, in fact he believes in them. He held out his hand and embraced them with love.
Thanks Giving is a time of thanks, so thanks to all of you that have accepted the hutterites for the people they are. Thank-You.
