Let’s be civil.

And with an avalanche warning of “considerable”, these idiots still went out to ski and trigger
an avalanche which also puts at risk the lives of the people who have to go rescue them.  Some
people are just dumb.

ride4fun, Please educate yourself before making uneducated statements. What is considered
“considerable” on one aspect in one avy pit evaluation may be totally different on another
aspect with a different pit evaluation, but I guess you would need to know what “aspect” and
“pit” means, huh? These people are not idiots, these are the kind of people you want to have
with you in the backcountry. These guys did everything right, were experienced, and survived an
avalanche. They self rescued each other and called for help. The responders live for this kind
of stuff and are trained for this exact situation. Next time you want to call people idiots,
look in the mirror, you will see one standing in front of you.
