It is clearly the GOP’s fault. If they would quit protecting the wealthy, but wait they can’t, they are the wealthy. The Democrats have compromised in good faith and basically have been screwed.

You might try some investigative reading.  If you do, you will find out just who the richest folks in congress are, and how they got there.  (pelosi for example).  The democrats haven’t done any of us any favors.
