Comments on: Surrounded by Job Losses, Montana’s Firearms Industry Thrives
Let’s be civil. The Flathead Beacon encourages vigorous discussion and lively debate, but we will delete comments that attack other readers, make accusations we can’t verify, stray too far off topic, criticize local businesses (call them if you have a problem), convict someone of a crime, use profanity or are simply judged to be in bad taste. We don’t always have someone moderating comments, so we ask for your help: If you see a comment that violates these ground rules, or you simply deem it offensive, please e-mail editor [at] flatheadbeacon.com. Oh, no doubt, George Soros and ‘new world order’ are sure to ring the alarm bells.
Fact is, he’s right though. Asia and the Pacific nations are the emerging leaders of the world. As their, thus far, latent populations are brought into the 21st century they will be the drivers of the worlds’ economy.
It’s happening before your eyes and really is’nt as scary as you might imagine.

Let’s get back to the topic of this forum, shall we?
Having travelled the world over, when asked where I am from in the USA, the next question is “Do you actually own guns up there?“
Then, of course, I answer with pride, “Yes, I do.“
Montana is known as a place very independent of the rest of the nation - and it is strongly reflected in its firearms culture. Montana gunsmiths themselves are considered to be among the most highly skilled in their craft in the country, if not the world - and that is reflected in the quality of the firearms made here.
Firearms are a unique symbol of the freedom that we are accustomed to having in our nation - and I am gratified to know that Montana’s gunsmiths and firearms manufacturers work diligently to continue that tradition, by continuing to produce some of the finest firearms ever made, for the people of this state, and for the citizens of our country that can own them.
