There is nothing more pathetic than a woman, of any age, with a tattoo.

And really nothing more insufferable than a grumpy old man who has to piss on *everything*.

I’ve found that the guys with tats can’t fight worth a damn.  The guys sporting dragons are especially weak.

Tattoos will never be mainstream, they are for lamers.  OT states not to mark your flesh.  Tats on women repulse me, tats on men send the clear message that the man is weak.

I have tats- and I guarantee you I am anything but weak. I am fit, I am heavily involved in community service, I’m working on a doctorate degree….The list goes on. So, tell me how a tatto is a sign that a man is weak. I thought it was a source of personal expression.

I can’t figure out why people have tatoos.  It must be a form of art that they want people to look at.  Women dress so that they will be noticed.  Teens (especially EMO-types) seem to want to shock us by their appearance. Guys who are in good shape are noticed by that.
Then comes this new fad, a dress code or popular style that makes disgusting, sloppy appearance the rage.  I don’t get it.  Maybe the majority of people are slobs so the styles now cater to the them, the majority.  Some say that the modern drug /gang/rap culture set the standard.  Sick.  And sad.
To me most tatoos say “hey, look at this, there ain’t nothin more here worth looking at.”
Chicks who flaunt their big butts and tummy rolls have a tatoo just above the crack and think that turns me on?  Sorry. Ick.
It cracks me up how many people show up for a job interview, despite the warning that we are looking for clean cut, responsible retail/service personnel, looking like they’re auditioning for a rap band or roadie position.  Bye bye.  Good luck.

Men are looking for women to be WOMEN, i.e. feminine. They don’t want women who are trying to be men. Tattooing is a masculine thing, the last thing a guy wants is for a woman to be masculine. A good rule of thumb, 99% of the time is; if everybody is doing it DON’T DO IT. People’s self esteem is so lacking these days that they’ll jump on any band-wagon, like women getting tattoo’s, just to fit in. Instead of a tatto, which most will regret later, read a book on how to be a more objective and self confident individual.

I’m sorry but I’m a girl with tattoos. To me they are important reminders of times in my life. All of my tattoos are easily hiden. In fact most people who meet me would never guess that I have any. I’m very cute and girly I’ve never been told I’m masculine. My tattoos are for me not for anyone else and have nothing to do with fitting in.

I am stunned by the uneducated, judgemental “redneck” comments above. Tattoos on men have nothing to do with them being weak. My husband got a memorial tattoo after his mom died. It is beautiful and besides providing closure it is a reminder of the strength and faith he had and needed getting through this difficult time in his life.
I myself have a couple of tattoes. e.g. Some beautiful cherry blossoms on my back in honor of my family. They don’t make me masculine.
Tattooes are beautiful way of expessing yourself. Educate yourself before posting ########!
