Its not just the NRA sitting this one out - other gun advocacy groups like GOA are also keeping a low profile.  This is very worrisome - possibly avoiding political fallout from this more being a states rights issue?

Hey JB : I think this more of a state sovereignty right then it is a gun issue. Even that it is state`s right for there own gun laws,and they are fighting for the second amendment which is our constitution right. You might call this a triple header. There is a lot of meat in this one. they are not just fighting for gun rights, but for sovereignty rights to.

@Les - yeah, I’m aware of that, hence my point.  My concern is with the advocacy groups like the NRA and the GOA.  They really need to be more involved in helping out the litigants with this issue against DOJ and BATFE.
