Get used to it, neighbor. The parking man beat me down into the kind of person that checks his tires every two hours for chalk marks. And I used to be such a rebel.

I too have been the victim of our town’s “Parking Nazi” in recent weeks.  A parent of a dear friend of mine, she knows my vehicle, and shows no more mercy than a tax auditor would show one’s own mother.  While she has no speedy cart and walks her beat, she too resembles a pregnant roller skate.
