I like how Whitefish - the wealthiest town in the Valley AND the only town with a sales tax has by far the largest “wish” list - the only thing I see on here that isn’t pork is the sewer system.  Although the Emergency center project seems like a good project - why would they put the 911 center at the far end of the valley? And why isn’t that a “County “ request?

So, where’s your precious by-pass supposed to terminate?  Eisenger Motors?  Even the federal government has more sense about planning than the bunch in City Hall.  Why waste federal money when they won’t even TRY?

And the county ?  What plan(s) does Flathead County have to fix its roads ?????  Just continue the whine “We have no money” ?

The Sleepy Hollow bunch down on the Island can’t even hear the traffic whizzing by their offices.

Why are we investing in new projects when the ones we have are not sustainable.  We need to take this stimulus money and invest in energy conservation and renewable energy.  By lowering operating budgets money can be saved and in the future used for new construction to benefit the communities.
