I think the writer of this is flat out confused. No one is asking anyone to pay for a child. However, the republicans are taking away our basic right to birth control of any kind, abortion, even holding
hands have come up. If you are anti abortion, then get off our butt and make sure birth control is
available to all women!!!!! Yes, even those that can’t afford the pill. Some states passed laws
that say you start counting your conception date as 2 weeks after your period. Come on, these
idiots are NOT doctors and have no business butting into womans healthcare. Perhaps you need
to get outside of your own area and sign up for newspapers from big towns (outside of Montana)
if you want to read some truth about the republicans “WAR ON WOMEN”. They even voted
against a bill to protect battered women.

What happened to responsibility, indeed….here’s what happened: One of the Secret Service slugs
refused to pay up for services rendered - the victim complained to the local authorities, and then the
media found out…nice.

The world is changed for women and that is a good thing. But some ( groups and or religions ) have a hard time with that and want to go back to the dark ages.

I don’t think people relied on more personal responsibility in the past. You might agree if you knew how many brothers and sisters I have. I think we always need more education, awareness and
options to try and reduce the number of unwanted pregnancies and abused children in this world.

I can’t think of anything more empowering to an individual then personal freedom. Freedom to pursue dreams and goals, to make choices, to be in control of ones own destiny. These are but a
few personal freedoms summed up within our Country’s Declaration of Independence; “We hold
these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their
Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of
Happiness.”
In America, we believe individuals are born with these unalienable Right’s, however children are not
afforded the full effect of these Right’s until they reach adulthood. Why? Because children are
unable to physically, financially, mentally or emotionally accept full responsibility for their actions. In
other words, personal freedom is inextricably linked to personal responsibility! Conversely, as an
individual chooses not to accept personal responsibility for their actions, by default they abdicate
their personal freedom to others (i.e. creditors, government and penitentiaries).
This is the “dirty little secret” of all social entitlement programs; individuals unwittingly sacrifice their
birthright of personal freedom for the false security of government programs. Once a society
becomes dependent upon the government, they become its subject’s, enslaved by their own
apathetic hands.

Oh ponymt, Many of the folks who comment on this forum will disagree with us. They say that our liberties and freedom come from Government and not our creator. I am saddened by their ignorance on
this issue, but no matter how many facts ie: our Declaration of Independence, ie: Galatians 5:1, etc.
etc. that we provide, they insist on continuing the idea that enslavement by our Government is a good
thing.
