On a serious note, it is very difficult to challenge the powerful Montana Tavern Association lobby. That is a sad state of affairs, even though it is very real.

Since the legislature and judges continue to treat drunk driver’s with kid gloves, the welcome mat might say:
“Welcome to Montana…the Drunk Driver State”
I cannot begin to tell you how angry I get to frequently read of DUI offenders on their 4th,
5th….9th offense. It’s positively disgusting.

Where does the state legislature get the notion that they should even be in the game of limiting private business growth ?
This proposal is nothing but an expansion of gov’t power that will hinder our state and the vision to
promote private small business growth.
Let the micro brews and any other private business do their own thing and the consumers, the
people, will decide what business’ survive and which die.
