Congrats to the city council in Whitefish. All towns and counties in this state need to ban any and
all storefront marijuana operations. They are illegal and always have been. Montana does not
need this type of illegal business operating in our communities.

Well Bill, I guess this means next time our state votes anything in, and spends alot of peoples
time, skills, and money to go by the rules to accomplish something, we should simply have the
federal end of the deal erase it all.
No need to worry though.. The industry is alive and well back on the black market with better
prices and ease of access… well done people.

Ya, what has the will of the majority got to do with it anyhow? We all know the PROFIT from
proabition ( private prisons, legal community, drug companies, alcohol companies,...etc.) is
much more important than the personal freedom to chose a harmless flower as medication.

If this notion is not stopped here and now, people may start to believe they are sovereign in
USA, not corporations and big money as is now nearly universally accepted.

This is the only thing Whitefish has done right in the last 20 years!  Keep this stuff off the
street, and put the pot heads in jail.  It is too bad we have to depend on the feds to enforce
the law.  The Gov and Tester have to walk those streets. Some one might snap a photo of them in
front of a pot shop.

It is irrelevant whether an individual hates Cannabis or not, the legality of grass should not
be based upon opinions. Just as Alcohol and tobacco are legal (so far) the same should
apply for Cannabis as well. Liking or disliking something is not an appropriate predicate for
deciding its proper legality. This issue is really about individual rights. Does man have a
right to his own life, liberty, and happiness, or not? A government that protects our liberty
is a government that also can properly penalize real crimes and criminal action whilst not
making a criminal of fellow citizens.
