Give up Fireworks….....it is a waste of money, which we all cannot afford at this time. Do you all know where the fireworks come from?? China. Stop this mindless consuming. Tough times call for awareness!!

The fireworks are part of a big draw for Whitefish businesses. Tourists from all over the world come here to enjoy The Park, our water sports, golf, hiking, walking trails, photography, horseback riding, etc. Then they shop and dine. They buy gas, food, drink, accommodations, souvenirs, the whole enchilada.

The fireworks pay for themselves many times over and either directly or indirectly, put money in the pockets of everyone.

Besides, my donation doesn’t cost you anything, it probably makes you money.

They are beautiful. Tourists take pictures, show them to their friends and the friends then come and spend their money here, thereby helping us pay our bills.

How could Whitefish have any trouble raising money for the fourth of july?  Whitefish is full of overly rich,pompous,second homeowners that don’t hesitate to try to change the town to their liking for everything else, why not have a chance to be the latest cool rich guy to save the fourth of july?  Come on richy rich, think of the write-off possibilities.
